This thread was started 03/12 and the projected launch is 03/13. That's 1 year(or maybe more) of R&D and hopefully fine tuning is finished. I have heard the ES released a more finely tuned version of its SM64 a few weeks after initial release. Not that its bad, in fact its good they made some last minute changes. I have read that the Gr07 went through 3 years of tuning before it was released. It too went through some even finer tuning with the MK2 and the BE. Taking learnings from the 07's success, combined with the technology from GR01, Vsonic may just have something that will sell like Apple products.

Now, expectations are high, and statement like "that the 7007s are better in overall sound quality than the k3003s and pfe's" from the VP's nephew can set expectations even higher and can sometimes lead to big disappointments. Just saying.

That, and he doesn't own any VSonic products. Surely the nephew of the VP would at least have the GR07 listed in his profile, even if they aren't his favorites...and isn't "my uncle" often followed by large amounts of malarkey? My uncle is the noted professor of linguistics, Noam Chomsky, and he said this is true.

Try Jaben HK. I live in HK, and when I went to look for Vsonic GR07s, Jaben HK were the only shop that carried them. IIRC Mingo had GR04s but no GR07. I wouldn't try Kingsound.
