I think my wallet just shrivelled up a little.

So there's the newly housed GR07 for $500, a "normal" hybrid for $300, the "upgraded" hybrid for $500, and a dual dynamic GR07 for $570 USD.

They better be damn good.

What is a coax GR07?

Also, I'm thinking that these are very cursory MSRPs. I'm pretty sure that lendmeurears for example sells everything a bit below MSRP, by as much as $100. I think the original MSRP of the GR01 was near $300, but I could be wrong.

$500 for a re-shelled GR07? That's CIEM pricing already

I was thinking about that.

On second thought, I'm actually very excited to see what they have coming. If they value the GR07's performance at $150, then imagine what they value at $500. Scary thought

I think they're just wise to the fact that we'll throw ludicrous amounts of money at any flagship iem from nearly any manufacturer.

Translation:
As we're approaching Chinese New Year, the two lower-end, R02 (Best Sound Version?) and UU2 earbud have already been shipped out to various retailers; those interested can look for places to audition them. After Chinese New Year, we're going to announce five different high-end models: GR07 (high-end version) at 3199 CNY, R02 (limited-edition) at 2399 CNY, hybrid BA/dynamic at 1999 CNY, hybrid BA/dynamic (upgraded version) at 3199 CNY, and the world's first coaxial dual-driver (GR07) at 3599 CNY.

Interesting announcement. Pricing is somewhat in line with some of the higher mid tier / low high tier universals. I am intrigued how they fare against the other ones released recently.

Or they could be thinking, "hey, we priced the GR07 way to low, time to make a killing now that we have a good reputation".

I hope the new line is good...because those prices are scary.

If they're good, people will fork over their money, but they'll no longer be considered a good value, just normal. Such is life.

That dual dynamic gr07 looks so enticing. I'm guessing they've improved on the biocellulose driver tech since the original gr07 was released, too.. toss it all in a new housing, to boot? My imagination is running wild on contemplating how good it could sound.

Oh.. and they're still developing the planar magnetic iem? Too much awesome coming our way.
