The last update from Arthur revealed that "[Arthur] used to handle everything for Violectric: importing, warehousing, shipping, distribution, sales, support, and warranty repairs. It was honestly getting to be a bit much to handle, so an arrangement was made with AMS (American Music & Sound) to handle the bulk of the load."

According to that e-mail, these were coming out of Connecticut, so I was quite confused when I got a FedEx text message telling me I had a package on the way from Mississippi; I believe the V550 I bought from him last year wound up shipping out of Memphis.

AMS is owned by a large multi-national conglomerate with lots of subsidiaries which support broadcast and live event production.

Anyhow, fingers crossed that FedEx doesn't play any games and on Friday I'll finally get to start burning in a new amp!
