The FX100T remains my favorite TWS for the tuning, so I'm quite excited to see what they will reveal. :)

Nice, looks like I'm sold. I see that it is available in Amazon Japan and they could ship internationally!

It's so hard to beat Sony WF1000 xm4.
It will be what you expect. The Victor will beat the Sony for sound and the Sony will win for ANC. They are different purposes though. The Sony is more for typical consumers and will be used more with phones. The Victor will be more for DAPs and won't even have an app it seems.

I have the Victor FX100T and WF-1000XM4. Even though the Sony is better in almost every way, the FX100T still remains better tuned. So I'm excited for the new one, if it could fix the issue on the entry level here (one that bother me the most is noticable hiss), then it's perfect for me. I won't expect the ANC to be anywhere close to Sony though.

https://www.qualcomm.com/products/features/snapdragon-sound
Hear your music in stunning lossless quality. Many Bluetooth techniques for compressing and decompressing audio can destruct parts of the data and reduce the quality of the output. Snapdragon Sound with aptX Lossless technology retains all of the original content, bit for bit, resulting in music identical to the original recording. It’s designed to scale to up to deliver 16-bit 44.1kHz Lossless CD-quality when users are listening to lossless streaming source content, like Amazon HD, and it can scale back the bit-rate in busy RF environments to ensure no drop-outs or audio glitches.

Qualcomm adds Bluetooth Lossless Audio Technology to Snapdragon Sound
https://www.qualcomm.com/news/relea...th-lossless-audio-technology-snapdragon-sound
aptX Lossless is a new capability of the proven aptX Adaptive technology and a new feature of Snapdragon Sound™ Technology that is designed to deliver CD quality 16-bit 44.1kHz lossless audio quality over Bluetooth® wireless technology.

To help deliver CD lossless audio quality reliably over Bluetooth wireless technology, aptX Adaptive works in conjunction with Qualcomm Bluetooth High Speed Link technology to help deliver the required sustainable data throughput.

Currently lossless audio is only supported on client devices such as phones, PCs and tablets.

So basically we'll definitely need that Qualcomm QCC5141 SoC in order to enable aptX Lossless then?

https://www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/2...y-first-goertek-releases-rox-earbud-reference
  • GoerTek Rox
  • Grell TWS/1
  • Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro

We still couldn't tell if FW1000T were actually coming with QCC5141 or something else, while they're only talking about aptX Adaptive below instead of aptX Lossless @ 44.1/16

https://ascii.jp/elem/000/004/072/4072248/

Other than that, maybe FiiO UTWS5 could be an interesting option *IF* aptX Lossless were officially confirmed (probably not yet?) by FiiO at some point?

Apart from the DAC improvement, we have carefully selected Qualcomm's latest and most powerful Bluetooth QCC5141, which has many merits- supports Bluetooth 5.2, newest aptX adaptive, and Qualcomm Snapdragon sound technology, and can transmit 96kHz/24bit Hi-res audio!

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/fii...-independent-ak4332-dac.959856/#post-16585725
In terms of connectors, the MMCX/0.78mm connectors help to turn your idle interchange cable earphones into TWS ones.

Of course we wouldn't expect AK4332 DAC to be the best candidate in terms of providing decent amount of power for driving FW10000, and then those MMCX connectors really aren't robust enough to allow frequent cable swapping to begin with.

Regarding aptX Adaptive, it could be added to theoretically any devices (even Nintendo Switch / PS4 / PS5 etc.) with quite a few Bluetooth 5.2 transmitters from China

One of them actually made something for iOS devices (i.e. Lightning connectors) and it costs 168 RMB a piece

FYI - here's yet another interesting adapter for Lightning

I dont think it will be a FW10000 repalcement, but since I have you here @seeteeyou , can you please help me to locate a place which sells wireworld nano-platinum eclipse, it is the the about the only cable I like to try.

Here we go

https://soundapproach.com/wireworld-nano-platinum-eclipse-pen-mini-jack-audio-cable.html

https://www.thecableco.com/nano-platinum-eclipse-ipod.html
https://www.thecableco.com/specials...ru-cyber-monday-using-discount-code-ww20.html
20% Off All Wireworld Cables Now Thru Cyber Monday Using Discount Code WW20

Basically order one @ 3 meters for 975 bucks (with 20% off = $780) and then we could cut that in half or something, then simply re-terminate that with the right connectors afterwards.

Though I might be more interested in getting quite a few stock cables (i.e. 4-wire config) and then pay someone to make something with 8-wire / 12-wire / 16-wire config

https://www.e-earphone.jp/products/detail/18594/2069/

FW10000 should be specifically designed / tuned to match the stock cable for obvious reasons, therefore it could be fun to "up the ante" simply by increasing the number of wires.

And then someone else was like combining a pair ALO Audio Gold 16 into a some sorta "Gold 32" on steroids, that turned out to be pretty awesome

https://post76.hk/thread-282043-1-1.html

BTW, they also have this micro USB 2.0 version of Platinum Starlight while the shortest length is 30 cm

https://soundapproach.com/wireworld-platinum-starlight-8-usb-2-0-audio-cables-single-1.html
https://soundapproach.com/pub/media/pdfs/Platinum Starlight 8 USB.pdf

Some manufacturers would terminate their flagship USB cables with USB Type-C connectors but so far Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 are available with micro USB 2.0 connectors. The shortest length for AQ is 75 cm and that would be a bit too long (maybe kinda expensive as well?) for portable rigs.

PGGB turned out be a REALLY good match for the original Chord Mojo, its successor should be coming in January and therefore having a flagship USB cable wouldn't be such a bad idea

Recently Furutech also made these interesting cables with NCF

I look at the price and performance and to me RS6 is amazing for vocal jazz.

I also find is acceptable for classical, Chamber music with the right IEM (FW10000).

Now that could very well be an interesting option since its NOS mode might work for 705.6 / 768 KHz files thanks to the power of PGGB, and then a dedicated balanced LO would be fantastic for the latest BX2-PRO from LessFox / Romi Audio

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/romi-audio-the-official-thread.945307/page-52#post-16668018

Copper chassis could be found on both units, while even stuff like Raspberry Pi would reap significant benefits from that

BTW, foobar2000 seemed to work under Win10 / Win11 PE and therefore PGGB-RT won't be bothered by issues related to anti-virus software

Infact that is what I did, I used the trial period for the PGGB software to make it work. It sounds bloody good. I paid for the PGGB IT, but i couldn't make it work on my laptop. Hopefully I can buy a new intel CPU next year.

I'm currently loving its lineout feeding my wagnus epsilon S. I went back to stock cable after trying various other cables.

Tried it with my good old (and probably by many forgotten) ibasso HDP R10, and it has a nice twist to the sound, very unique, didn’t expect it to sound that way👍👍👍
