I too for 11/11 am evaluating something between tempotec sonata hd pro, tempotec sonata bhd and hidizs s9 ... only I found very few reviews and opinions on the latter two and I would not buy in the dark.

Yeah there's not a lot of info out about the S9. The other one I was looking at was the Lotoo PAW S1 but it's about $100 over my max budget.

I have owned this TempoTec Sonata BHD for a few days and also the # 9038S gen 2.
What I can say for the moment: I really like both! As for the music, I will wait to judge.

On the other hand, what I can say is that for those who have problems with a TempoTec V1 which does not recognize the E1DA in USB, the V1 works perfectly with the Sonata BHD! A great thing. :relaxed:

The cable of the Sonata BHD is much nicer than the # 9038S! An excellent thing too.

I don't quite understand the why of your question :relaxed: What precision do you want to have?

... ( I wonder if, in the end, the title of the topic is not very suitable for our discussion, too, don't you think? :relaxed:)
I wonder if the e1da sound better than some portable dac/amp, :relaxed:
I could use it on the go and on my desktop pc,

that's the why :relaxed:

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what is considered the best adapter for the iPhone? One that doesn't need the complicated USB splitter for Apple devices, something that plugs straight into the Lighting port of the iPhone? Looking for the best SQ one. Thanks
