How is the price of the HUD100? (I tried convert South Korean cash to USD, but I couldn't)

For beyond specs, I think they are products with different purposes... Spectra X for a dongle and HUD100 for Desktop/Notebook. Of course anyone can use as want.

you don't need an ID to buy. if you have a forwarder you should be fine. not sure how most foreigners shop on taobao here, but there's a handful that manage to just fine. Think it depends on the seller. It's basically like ebay, so some may ship international & others won't.

Question, is this the YinLuMei S2 mislabeled on AliExpress? (and waay priced way more thsn Taobao)

I have bought 2 more Apple USB C to 3.5mm dongles just in case if this breaks. My iBasso DC01 is lying idle

Seriously, terrific value for money. I really like sound quality with FLAC + UAPP. Only negative is some niggles like I can't take call when using with UAPP. Also Hi-Res files are not sounding that good but I'm happy with FLAC. What else you can expect with $9 dongle

I would not buy things from yinlvmei.

I have bought m400. I listened for 1 hour. Then no sound. I got the refund. I wouldnt trust its random quality assurance. :frowning2:

Too harsh a conclusion from your experience only. Probably better to have @Hisma tell us what the local brand image is like in China.

I dont hold anyone to buy this. Since the sound itself is magnificent. I just raise my experience and awareness that you can be unlucky in online shopping.

But I wouldn't buy it unless there is a reliable middleman in my country who can give 1 year warranty.

don't know where else to ask

I wanted to use a Sony EC260 usb-c to 3.5mm adapter with pc

but the one I bought from ebay is either broken out of the box or is propriety locked to sony

I want to know which but don't have a sony phone to test it on

does anyone know if it should work on pc or just on sony's phones?

I believe that is not a dac, but simply an adapter to get headphone-out from the phone's dac.

If you try to find specifications for it, all you get is usb and 3.5mm. No hardware.

I read somewhere that audio can't pass through usb-c, Idk anything technical, but even when apple's lightning adapter had come out people were talking about whether its a dac or just audio pass-through until someone took x-ray photos of it and found a dac/amp chip inside

again don't know anything technical but the lack of information is probably from the lack of interest in this usb-c dongle or it could be just sony being sony and not wanting to share hardware

or I could be wrong and usb-c could passthrough analog audio, idk
