I could never find the info on 2xCS43131 dongles' (Tanjchim SPACE / FiiO KA13 / Sonata BHD Pro / Ibasso DC04 Pro) output impedance. Did anyone manage to find it?
TBH I was mostly looking at Tanjchim and Sonata, and did not pay that much attention to finding them on FiiO and Ibasso. But given what I see now, DC04Pro will suit my needs. Thank you for help!
Minimum phase (default)
Linear phase apodizing fast roll-off
Linear phase fast roll-off
Linear phase fast roll-off low ripple
Linear phase slow roll-off
Minimum phase fast roll-off
Minimum phase slow roll-off
Minimum phase slow roll-off low dispersion
Edit:
Filter names in datasheet regarding fast/slow roll-off are inconsistent/contradicting.
Yes, and the thing I appreciate most is when they are connected to the iHA-6 so I can use them as a pure DAC... having 9 DACs with all different sound signatures in the drawer and experiencing the various synergies is an incredible thing. In addition to this, changing the DAC in thirty seconds and going from the sound of a RU6 to that of an M15 and then that of an ifi GO bar or that of a W4 or even a RU7 is simply magnificent. Something unthinkable just a few years ago and especially with the quality that they express today... even if with a little help... the mod.
Posted a link on page 373 for Ibasso DC04PRO for $79 USD on AliExpress. Which is well worth the money. (Although, I'm not sure if you can get AliExpress in your country. I'm in the US so I'm not familiar with your country's customs.)
The only one is the RU7, but using the mod that I reported on a few pages earlier in this thread it doesn't make much difference if you have the line out or not. With that mod the background noise is practically eliminated on all dongles making them perfectly usable in an amplifier by connecting them in high gain and maximum volume. The only one with which I don't use the maximum volume is the RU6 which, given the way it is made, would generate distortion and on the advice of Andykong from Cayin it is set to volume 76.

Can you tell me how much volume steps there are and how much shorter is the listening time in comparison with a iphone dongle (because you said it needs a lot of energy)?
After a few hours of burn-in (although very far from complete) the Shanling UA3 has lost a good part of its edges in the highs and mids. Let me start by saying that I use dongles mainly as pure DACs connected to my Cayin iHA-6 and I must say that this UA3 is proving to be a very successful dongle especially for desktop use. Thanks to its output which gives precisely 4 volts to the Cayin's balanced inputs and its practically zero background noise, it is simply perfect for desktop use. It basically has a line out output without having a line out output. Knowing the AKMs well, especially those tuned by the Shanling engineers, I can say with absolute certainty that as we continue with the burning-in, its sound signature will become even more rounded and free of edges, while maintaining its vocation for detail and musicality. A great little dongle... but a great desktop DAC if you look for it. Congratulations Shanling!!!
