i've been out of the market for a while, but recently ive been looking at getting a new pair of headphones to replace my alessandro MS-1s
 
i listen to basically only trance nowadays and ive really enjoyed how my sennheiser IE8s sound but im open minded about other sound signatures.
i was told to look at the new hifiman HE-300s, and im liking what i see. do you guys have any other recommendations to look at?

I like Denon D2k's, that thunderous impact along with the clean overall presentation is always a crowd pleaser IMO

lol OP read my mind with me about to post the HE-300. But I'd recommend the FA-011 as the first thing on your list followed by the HE-300 and then the Denon D2k.
