Hi, am looking to upgrade from my Sennheiser HD 448s.  I have previously listened to the HD 438s and really like the sound of them (esp the mids and vocals) but would like to get something better around the price range of $200.  I have looked at the Denon Ah-d1100s which I didn't like, am currently looking into the Audio Technica ESW9As, Ultrasone 780s (heard them briefly and like the sound but not very comfortable), Senn HD 25-1 (Not too impressed).  Was tempted to get the new Senn 558s but am looking for something more portable.  Can someone help suggest something that sound similar to the 438s?  Thanks.

I just upgraded from 448 to ath M50. Quite an upgrade in term of sound quality for me. More bass and treble clarity imho. Also its build quality is just amazing.
But the bass can be a little too much for me and can be quite hot to wear it on summer.

Phiaton MS 400

Sound like Senn, yet more portable and better build and more.

You can get the 500, but the 400 is on ear, and the 500 is over
