I dont know what their cancellation policy is like, but if you do cancel hit up AK audio on aliexpress, I hear they are giving head-fiers decent discounts on the X10. 

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.  Like I really need another DAP anyway.

Worked fine with mojo using optical out.. But i dont know.. I prefer direct.. It doesnt mean mojo sounds bad.. Its just more portable this way.. Just to be clear here.. Lol

I couldn't get it to show either on my MBP, so I took out the card and used an external reader to upload files.

Well mine might be comming in the next few days. The status updated after 6 days. I hope now they do not take 6 extra days for the post office to deliver since it's the holidays

My X10 is packed and ready as Xmas gift from my beloved wife. And today I got another interesting package which hide Aune M1s. So it seems, I be very busy over next few days.

X10 is using the AK4490 DAC and X3ii using the CS4398 DAC. What else should I be looking for from a DAP and the level of support I might expect from either company?

While the CS4398 is a very good DAC chip, I was disappointed with the X3ii because of its weak response in the bass department.
I know the AK4490 from the Shanling M5 and it does sound beautiful. Cannot directly compare against the X10 (thinking of getting one though) but there is definitely lots of potential in the X10.
It also depends on which filters, amps, etc being used. The X3ii may have a better UI and does gapless playback but I think audio-wise you get more from the X10.

That's why it is much better to order from known stores like Penon for a slightly higher price but guaranteed delivery.
