I made one for mine, 1.2m + matching 2m extender:

It's a pretty easy DIY job, Qables has the 3.5mm threaded plugs :)

That looks very nice! You're making me want to put together a custom cable. I like the straight cabling but it would be nice to have a more robust, slightly longer cable. I may have to do some research on the process of properly assembling a custom cable. It should be that hard but I have never tried anything like that.

Wanting to order the pad myself, I went to the website and didn't find that accessory for the HD650. Can you provide me with a link?

Thanks!

(seriously: The padding has an adhesive backing. I have a hot glue gun if everything else fails. Don't worry, it'll get attached.)

Is there a way to to mod the pro900 so they leak less sound?

get a pair of ultrasone dj1 pro or pro 550 earpad,, they're interchangeable with pro 900 pad and i think it cost only $30~

Have you actually try putting the dj1 pro earpads on the Pro 900? Cause I have emailed recently ultrasone asking this specific thing and they have replied that velour pads are the only pads that go on the Pro900 and that the dj1 pro earpads do not fit.

These things are SICK! I'll never go back to HD650s, 702s (What was I thinking?) and my HD-25s.... Truth be told though it's tough to listen to Spotify on these. I'll be busy downloading FLAC all week.

Oh yeah, High quality music certainly helps with these.

Ended up spending a few hours looking for FLAC versions of my music too.
