No, but you can detect how much the drivers settling in.  Not especially helpful for 'stats, though...

Love them.  Maybe they will sate my lust for a set of R10's, at least until I can find a set I want.

Are you using them with stock wire or the Twag?

What I would like to know is, after a Ed. 10 is accepted as settled in, how it compares head on head to the R10. Yep, that is what I would like to know.

how do you know?

Not exhibiting any of the maladies others have mentioned/noticed (at least when driven by a WA22, a Zana Deux, a Equilebrato, an Orb Jade 2, or any of the other amps I have on hand);plus Ultrasone confirmed that my set has the "fixed" pads.

Got my set through Whiplash, FWIW.

Once I get back my repaired pair from Craig this time with the correct earpads, I can find out.  I'm curious myself, however, bear in mind that my Ed10 is recabled and I expect to be seriously impressed even against the bass-heavy R10 I have.

Would you mind pinging me when you post the comparison, please?  Sometimes I don't check HF for quite a while, and I want to be sure to catch this posting.

Peace,

I'm curious how Ultrasone "knows". Not trying to be a PITA, but if they know by serial number or something, then that would be helpful info for others here too.

No worries here. I'll check my serial number when I get a chance to get over to my office.  Not sure how Ultrasone knows, the problem must be confined to a certain range of serial numbers?
