Ultrasone edition 10 "THE BUTTERFLY" initial impressions

Well, today I got a notification that my Edition 10 has been shipped via overnight delivery. It's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. If this is the case, unboxing photos and early impressions will be up by the end of this Wednesday.

MuppetFace, please be aware that this headphone need burn-in time to show its real performance. Mine has passed 300 hrs. which I think it's better than the new one at least more than 20-30% but I think it still can go farther if it pass 500 hrs burn-in especially in high frequency.

Awesome Muppetface!  Love to hear impressions, the Ed10 is on my shortlist, or next on the list after Christmas presents.
 
Please Please let me know how it matches with your Zana Deux.  Since that is what i own it is a big factor.  Thanks!

 First impressions are interesting as well. Also the burn in time seem to be at least cut in half if you have getting used to one Ultrasone before

To each her / his own. I personally don't believe in improvement from headphone burn-in, much less marked benefits from 500+ hours of it. I've only experienced psychosomatic / psychoacoustic burn-in.

The Zana Deux SE is currently my main amp, so I'll definitely be trying the Edition 10 with it. I thought it made the Edition 8 sound a bit too bright when paired with the 840C, so hopefully the Edition 10 will sound a little less so.
 
I'll also be comparing it to the Meier Concerto, along with my Leben CS300-XS whenever it arrives.

So are you in the US? I am just wondering where they are getting delivered. I have been on a waiting list for some time but then I am enjoying the heck out of my LCD-2 balanced. On burn in, I realize there are many opinions but I have the 750's and the Ed. 9 and the 750's were well used when I got the 9's. I could hear the change and since I was used to the Ultrasound sound, whatever that is, it wasn't getting used to the 9's but hearing the top end smooth out and the phones open up in comparison to a baseline from the 750's. 
 
Unusual low clouds on Pohnpei this AM. Very magical with early morning blue skies with high clouds spackled across far reaches. The low clouds make the island look prehistoric. Very cool. Now where is Rex?

So yeah, there's a good chance it's not going to be here today. Sigh.

Yes unfortunately that would mean that a tracking number has not been established yet, you'll have them tomorrow.   I am green with envy but my face remains red with anger.....

Sorry for the mix-up everyone.
 
I had placed two orders, one for the Edition 10 and one for another item. Since I was given two tracking numbers I assumed both orders shipped. Turns out the second tracking number was erroneously made for some reason.
 
So yes, no Edition 10 yet.
