Ultimate Ears launched the UE900, a quad BA IEM!! I personally loved the whole UE line up especially the TF10 which until now I think is still the king of universal IEMs. Can't wait to try this gorgeous IEM!

Heir Audio's 4Ai is 200$ cheaper and a few very experienced people have said that they are the best sounding universal iems they have ever tried...these will have to be absolute monsters to compete or they will be forced to lower the price. Looks real nice, though. Can't wait to read a review.

But these guys will be sold by more retailers. Nobody stopped them from pricing the TF10s exorbitantly.

Here's hoping for $100 this Black Friday!
But seriously speaking, they should be available for $400 or less within a few weeks or months right?

Certainly has my attention. Someone needs to bite the bullets and test these!! I'd rather stick with a company I already know.

I'm afraid that Logitech has moved the ultimate ears brand away from audiophile quality and into beats territory. (Read; None custom IEMs)
Got a feeling that the TF10 (which I own, use and love) was the last pair of great UEs. But as always, it remains to be heard.

No i do not think these are aimed at beats lovers. The new headphones yes, all gimmicks. Although these look pretty quirky they use tech based of the UERM and have 3 way 4BA configuration. This all means nothing to a beats fanboy so for cheaper they could have used the same cool housing with a dynamic driver. This intended to be a new flagship. Also i really liked the Logitech UE700 and the UE350 and UE500 are both meant to be quite good so lets just see some impressions before we doubt this.

Indeed. There is going to need be a UE900 vs. Heir 4.Ai shootout right guys?

Oh and the housing looks so much like the 4.Ai one!
