$99 Black Friday IEMs on the way!
Shi* can the whole concept and incorporate the best traits and ergonomics of TF10 and UE900 and come out with a quad driver TF11Pro and charge $449.
They would sell a ton of them
I have had my UE 900 IEMs for about a year now and really like them but the lack of lower-end punch is really just starting to irk me. I have tried 3 different tips, both the rubber and 2 different set of Comply foam tips. Even with a good seal, I just don't get much bass extension with these.
Can anyone recommend another IEM that delivers the great mid and high quality of the UE 900 but has a more "fun" sound with some nice deep bass extension? Something I can find at a brick and mortar store is MUCH preferred as I like having the comfort of knowing I can return them if I don't like the sound signature.
Thanks everyone.

I finally got a response on my end, same request for the proof of purchase:
"In order for us to continue with the warranty replacement, we would need the actual proof of purchase for the device (screen shot). We would like you to send the proof of purchase as an image/picture attachment to your response to this email. Preferably in JPEG format. We would need this to continue with the process."
This was without asking as much as you had, so it looks like you have finally convinced them to do the right thing across the board.
Everyone with the 900 in 900s box issue should contact support-enu@ultimateears.com to start your replacement process.
To me it's really amazing how at first they said they are the same, then they said maybe the dealer did the old switcharoo. Now they are saying they will look into that. Which means that the dealer in HK who had the 900 as the 900s in the store was under the impression that he was letting people test the 900s. Horrible customer service. In fact the 900 sounded different just because the pinhole bore wasn't clogged as they were fairy new.
I appear to have gotten to the bottom of things. For now all I can say is that I have been assured that what we received are indeed the 900s as currently constituted.
Eagerly awaiting what's up!
What I can tell you is that someone who knows what has been going on with the UE 900s has told me that Logitech knows that there is a lot of confusion, and they are going to make things more clear supposedly by tomorrow. I have been told a few things that clear up a lot of what has been happening, but I have been told to wait as they (Logitech) say they would like to clear up some things first.
What's the worst that can happen? Not to get into corporatism but why not just spill the beans, they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.
That way maybe next time they will not jerk their consumers around and actually improve instead of focusing on the bottom line.
