peter123, the problem (for me) is neither the risk nor the delay. My issue is that telling us they are shipping 200-300 per day and NOTHING has reached its destination in 3 WEEKS are two contradicting things. We can all tell us we got discounts, they cannot control the post, they have some magical mega deal for slow free post, shut up whiners and wait, or whatever.
The truth remains, no matter how good or bad these products will be. If they shipped anything to EUROPE some MUST have arrived.

I rather have them tell we are not shipping, or whatever they want to say than claim all is shipped.

To me they are packing (I hope) and will drop all they have to the post office once ready.

If that's the case though, why did Bob come here 3 weeks ago and announce, that shipping has begun? Could've just said "ok guys, everything has been manufactured, now we need until the 24-25th of March to pack stuff and start shipping."

I think the problem is, that they promised (at least for new Master) certain date, when earphones will be shipped. The date passed, counter disappeared from their web pages, but it seems that they still need few more days to ship them. So the same story as always, but this time they stated, that they GUARANTEE, that earphones will be shipped. Which unfortunately doesn't seem to be true.
And it also seems to me, that they doesn't want to admit, that they didn't manage to ship them on time.

This is how it looks to me, but as they already uploaded new pictures of nearly all the models to their web pages, I think that earphones really are finished and ready to be shipped. But unfortunately we need to wait few more days.

I think that's the point.

Had the announcement been correct all would have been well; even if Trinity announced that there was some kind of problem.

However, since it looks as though it wasn't correct, it leaves many to be untrusting and therefore in the end Trinity may well lose a few customers.

Announcements of difficulties or delays are fine, but it is difficult to accept statements that turn out to be unfulfilled.

How about ....

'Sorry folks. There's been another problem with production of xxxxx so we won't be able to ship until September........

Then they actually arrive in September, then all would have been well. Had they arrived earlier, there would have been delight!!!

But to wait until September and then wait for any statement as to what is going on leaves everyone in doubt and doesn't do any good for anyone.

I think that Trinity were way too optimistic in the first place.

Don't forget after the first Hunter delay, we were PROMISED "before the holidays"... The new models should not have even been released until the PM6 and Hunter were already out the door, let alone allowing them all to get backed up because of them.  They have let down the people who actually had enough faith in them to order the flagship products.  Ever since they added the 30% cancellation fee this thread has been going down hill.  I mean before that mess everyone touted the 14-day satisfaction guarantee, and how if we don't like the TOTL models we could just send them back for a refund, you know because that's what they were doing before.  Bob seems to blame the "haters" but to me it seems like trapping people in a purchase they no longer want, but don't 'not want' enough to suffer the fee bred a whole lot of negativity, and kept people active in this thread that no longer supported Trinity but were stuck waiting for half a year longer for their purchase.  Add to that a decline in communication and transparency, and what is really starting to seem like dishonesty (though could very well be just pure irresponsibility and lack of accountability)... They just keep shooting themselves in the foot.  Too many broken promises (no more new models right?  oh wait now after Icarus it's really no more this time guys...) and the complete neglect of the customers whose faith arose from the strong line of dialogue and customer awareness that have now seemed to completely erode has made this many people's last purchase from them I'd think.

BTW has ANY kind of measured info been released for the hunters anywhere?  No graphs of course aside from Brooko's prototype tests... but impedance? sensitivity? anything?  Does Bob even know these things?

The sad thing is how many people here defend Trinity's pre-order/ discount model and allow them to use that a the reason unfulfilled promises/delays/ non-deliveries are acceptable.
I just pray the QC issues are fixed and the so-called TOTL Hunter has a matching sound signature.
I placed trust in Trinity and bought the Hunter based on Bob's promises of how good the sound will be. Not to mention how loudly he promised excellent build quality.

If I knew a pre-order and discount meant delays, non-delivery and 0 idea(the reviews promised never happened except Brooko 8 months ago) what I was getting I would have never spent the money.

Yeah, I hear you. I learned my lesson after the PM4 deblace with terrible qc, quite disappointing performance and not the least a package posted ten days after it was confirmed here that all packages were sent out. The total experience was just too underwhelming for me to have any horse in the race this time. I do feel sorry for all the people experience the same all over again though. Let's just hope that both build quality and performance is up to expectations this time.

Still looking forward to read user feedback on the new offerings.....

Anyone knows where I can get a silver eight wire cable like hunters?
Will it be available for purchase later on Trinity's website?

I was also frustrated with pre-ordering when I bought pm4

I even made video about it especially second one.

Looking it back made me laugh haha

What I learned is its not a shop you are investor of the product that's why you get it cheaper. The buyers are funding the product to be a reality for everyone else. That means delays, mistakes in build quality etc. I wait till tomorrow when no one gets anything then that would be weird. We need to wait till bob turns up with updates.

That Kickstarter excuse kind of falls apart when we bought something from a web store that was delayed because of poor planning and fixing previous mistakes... Turns out they are cheap because WE are the R&D team. And now they have our money so they can't even be bothered to tell us what is going on or answer any more questions...

That might be valid for the initial kickstarter, but this was advertised as a pre-order.  The Hunter wasn't even available on crowdfunding sites.

We have one week left to wait, guys.  I get the frustration but out of the few items i ordered from Trinity (and received) i've never ever gotten a tracking number.  Of course, that is not a justification.

I am sure something went wrong and we possible will not hear anything after the 24/25th.  Hell, i know in the past I always claimed unrealistic dates when it came to work or helping others or projects i am working on.  I wound up biting more than i can handle for not properly allocating the right amount of time.  Then the struggle happens and eventually the communication goes.

Its a humbling lesson to be learned and one everyone makes.  Lets see what happens next week. Then you all have my blessing to rage it up. (:
