TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

Mar 18, 2017 at 2:30 PM Post #12,001 of 24,683
while i'm not necessarily in a hurry to receive my master (although bob did say they would ship this month.  if mine shows up post dated after march it will be the last trinity product i buy) i do find it puzzling that nobody has received anything so far.  bob see's the ****storm happening again and chooses to not elaborate on the situation, which just makes people question things even more.  all it would take is a cell phone pic of the actual boxes containing the IEM's to calm everyone down.  several thousand boxes sitting in a pile would prove they have them and are actively shipping.  seems it would be the easiest way to calm the waters around here rather than posting comments about conspiracy theories.

this is what gets me "We have issued many shipping confirmations and more will go out tomorrow, you have to remember that head-fi makes up just a small proportion of our customer base. However I know for a fact a few headfi members have been sent the email because I sent them."  http://www.head-fi.org/t/796729/trinity-phantom-series-new-thread-worlds-first-push-pull-hybrid-iem/11280#post_13324561 this was 10 days ago.  so he says headfi members have been sent shipping confirmations yet nobody here says they've received an email or a product 10 days later?  how many headfi members waiting on trinity product are not actively reading these threads?  are we to believe there is a member out there with their hunter or PM6 and just not saying anything about it?  possible?  yes.  likely?  no.

 just my $.02.  carry on...

Well, perhaps just a caveat with not ordering from Trinity anymore; don't do the pre-orders. In for a likely world of headaches if you do that, as we've seen here. But I haven't had any problems if the product I order is in stock and I know other people have them in hand (which means they truly are in stock and not just "in stock" on the site). That said, also worth saving up for some other IEMs coming out recently that are super interesting; oBravo and the new Campfire Audio lineup comes to mind...

I won't be ordering any more as far as pre-orders go. My feeling is that many will now think twice before doing it again as a result of this.

One e they arrive though, it'll all blow over and some might forget but not for me.

I'm frustrated, but at this point I'd rather have him not take the time to send out notifications and to just use that time to ship the products.

I will ask for my order to be cancelled if I have not got my order 2 days after confirmation from Trinity that my order is shipped.
I will have to bare the 30% fee as I do not have any patience left after this mess.

I have no horse in this race...

However, if you're in the UK and purchased with a C.C. you maybe able to pursue a claim through the consumer credit act, section 75.

In the meantime, from an observer, it's a fascinating watch.

yea i only pre-ordered because trinity had a guaranteed ship date for the master (which has come and gone and been removed from the website) and i figured they deserved a second chance to see if they could actually meet a timeline for once.  i should have known better but after bob came here and basically fessed up that they screwed up, were going to get focused on their product line and get things right for once i figured i'd try one more time.  as far as possibly ordering again for an in stock item, i don't think so.  it's the principle to me which means more than the headaches, let downs and head-fi discounts.  i've learned my lesson with trinity which is unfortunate as i was really looking forward to checking out the icarus I.

Hmm. I wonder what guarantee ship date meant to Trinity. Does it mean they refund your purchase if they failed to meet it.
Did you get a refund?

haha!  of course not.  they may not know exactly how to run a business but they aren't stupid enough to offer free product.

I'm regretting not seeing this forum thread prior to ordering the Masters. I only ordered because I was willing to wait til the March 10th ship date. This has now come and gone. How do you request a cancellation from Trinity?

Well, I would have thought it meant an offer to cancel. Not a free product. Lol
Sorry for my lack of clarity.
