As has been noted many times in this thread and the store page, you may not use discounts of any sort on the PM6. If you weren't able to find this fact in the thread, I don't blame you as the thread has move quite quickly. Basically here's the breakdown of what you can and can't use discount codes on:
 
Cannot use discount code OF ANY SORT: Phantom Master 6
Can use discount codes: Everything else
