I wanted to move there anyway, sooner or later. I know about the Quotas in Switzerland, but well one can hope, especially as a half german half french dude.

As far as my understanding of exchange rates goes, you pay less €$ but Bob gets the same amount of pounds, so you should not feel bad about that, banks already take enough of our money.
