We built both and by comparison they was technically excellent but boring.

Be mindful that Brooko has not had the version with the filter system installed and can only give you views on the most bass heavy version.

All of our evaluators will get the full versions of the sabre and master for a full breakdown. At this moment these are like a shake down model to find floors and ways to improve.

Alright mate my interest is back!

On the Sabre this will be retail and so will be a little lower for kickstarter, for the Master we have to finish doing our final engineering before I can say absolutely on the MSRP and Ks pricing.

The Sabre sound and presentation is different. We only price based on what it costs to make inc our margins etc and the Atlas is more expensive to make. I will let the testers report on what they find sound wise and they may offer comparisons to Atlas, however the testers only have Beta units currently.

Sounds good (no pun intended)! Can't wait to hear some comparisons with the Atlas

@brooko Will there be any change in the 2 pin socket, to be made as recessed for the retail run, as these being protos?.....

That you'd have to ask Bob - but given the quality of his cables, and the fact that the cable connection on these is really good, I'd be personally quite happy if they remained as-is.

Thanks for this Paul.

The filter installed is the most bass heavy filter and we are working on the new ones as we speak. I was testing a few moments ago and have a filter that is to your taste.

The push pull is to reduce the distortion and also ups the resolution in my opinion.

For the final filters i am deciding on 2 different versions and may include both (damped and undamped).

Cant wait to get the collectives feedback and we can look at the final pre-production test units.

Thanks for letting me have a listen of the early prototype mate.  Definitely keen on listening to the less bassy filter.  Giving them an EQ cut really had them shining for me.  And I figured the push-pull must be doing something to the HF - these are really smooth - no sign of glare or grain.

@Brooko, was your comparision to the deltas with the stock gunmetal?

Yep - Delta with gun-metal.  At some stage I'm getting a pair of Delta 2 as well (purchasing them off Bob this time - not a review sample - still my favourite so far in Trinity line up).

@brooko @ vince and alex have any of u guys ever heard or audition fitear parterre???

Sorry - haven't heard the Parterre

Not excited about this as compared to the proposed Phantom Pure or Phantom Bass

First prototype, one filter heard - I'd wait until we can get closer to the production model before making those sorts of calls. Based on what I've heard so far, and what I know is still coming (tweaks) - I'm definitely interested.  And as you can tell by what I wrote - the default with the bassy tuning isn't for me.  What is clear though - with this first prototype - is the potential.

Heh... Delays on Kickstarter? Does that happen? /s

My Bragi Dash arrives Thursday, the original proposed ship date of that campaign was October 2014. I think that's a new record. (1 year + 4 months late)

I've got a project that is over 2 years late on Kickstarter and a 9 month late project on Indiegogo. On time or late will vary by the complexity of the campaign (more stuff correlates with more late) and the experience of the campaigner (experienced campaigners tend to deliver more to schedule). Another factor is whether the production window includes the Chinese New Year. You can generally add two months to the delivery time of the project if production includes the Chinese New Year (for any products using Chinese production). Most campaigns are two months late anyway and people need to be ready for six month delays, because they aren't uncommon. I haven't backed as many tech campaigns as boardgames, but the observations apply. Items that involve printed material or sculpts have the highest delay potential. I've backed around 80 projects now and most don't deliver on time.

That filter has already been done ;)

Sounds would that be nutralish sound with forward mids you aim for? That is how I would discribe the blue filter se846, amazing lush vocals. Will enjoy listening myself if that is the aim as abosutly love the Shures. I know it is not a fair comparison with the saber but maybe with the master and the extra drivers it will be.
