A little late to the party, but could anyone tell me what the "stock" pads that Smeggy were using? Or do people generally do pad rolling?

Thanks, it took me a while to figure out 007 pads are called O2 pads

I got mine with the Stax pads. I guess they were pretty tight, because Smeggy ripped several sets of O2 pads when working on the group buy sets. He offered the Audeze LCD-2 pads as well, but I don't remember what other pads he offered. Probably the Shure 840 which were popular on the T50RPs at the time.

I got the Fostex TH500 pads for the big Fostex planar that failed. Well it took the tad bit of bass it had and amplified it to bass head levels. Crapping thing is the pads suck for lasting long as putting them on started messing up the fake leather. I have more pads on the way but I'm happy these did something I wanted and that was bigger bass. It also tamed the upper region which includes mids-treble. Basically it was louder now it's more even and has a warmer presentation. These are like 1266 TC bass omg it's killing Modhouse which I have. It's basically you want bass here you go. Last pic is original pads so they are very slim in comparison.
