I have heard that there are some issues with Smeggy and his Thunderpants? Can someone elaborate?

Does anybody know where I can find or have someone make Thunderpant TP-1 headphones? I've been looking but I guess not hard enough. Can you guys and ladies help me out?

There's a lot of talk about Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Grado, AKG...   But I don't see Fostex mentioned that often? How come? Are they not good?
