hoping like hell the molds are good and fit will be correct.

Although a sturdy and well made 'audiophile' cable with well integrated mic and controls will be a great hit.
 
The current market has only two commercial competitors AFAIK. Jerry Harvey's and Westone's.

I'm building an audiophile gaming headset with my HD650 and a Modmic. The Heir Audio Magnus will be used to wire it. Most comfortable, flexible yet sturdy cable I've ever encountered.

I got my impressions back from Heir, unlike another china-based custom IEM maker I'm not going to mention. Wouldn't know what to do with them, but I have them.

Do you think it would be possible to use them as ear plugs?  They might be hard to get in and out but they are made of some type of silicone right?  Of course you can also hold onto them for when you decide to upgrade in a couple of months

They shrink over time, so it really is not a good idea.
