when using xenon 6 small ear tips, after 2 hours of continuous use, it keeps slipping out of my ear and the sub midsub range also loses. I have to constantly push it back into my ear. It's very confusing. The medium-sized ear tips are too big and uncomfortable. What would you do in this situation? I tried spinfit w1 and azla xelastec small, both slipped out after a few hours. I need ear tips that I can put in my ears and that I don't have to touch them for 7-8 hours and that they stay where I first pressed them into my ears. does such exist at all? if so can the types come.
Those silicon sticky tips are what I used with the XE6 which kept them in. I would get like three-four months before I had to put on a new set due to the stickiness not being effective anymore from dust etc. not using that IEM much anymore though I did for a long time and unfortunately I cannot remember the brand.

That setup plucks you from reality and thrusts you into whatever is playing.

The texture is my favorite part, lending to a natural sound. Somehow the presentation is very engaging, I am chalking this up to the Wilson magical mids. Enjoy!

The best tips I've found for sticking and sealing well are the Penon Liqueur. You also might consider Moondrop Spring tips

Can u provie impressions of the 465? TY
Sure. The last update I made was on the MK-465 thread. This will take you to the update:

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/mass-kobo-model-465-is-in-the-house.969985/post-18104449

I will continue to update as it breaks in. At the moment I am finding bass notes have more depth or sustain and can explode in their depth. Mids keep expanding and the treble, though still in the neutral spread, is on the warm side and very detailed.

The above was true of Susvara and also Traillii. I recently added a silver cable to my Empy and connecting that to the MK-465 is amazing. Female voices take on a fuller tone and the treble opens up on them.

My goood what cable is that? Look like jewelery. Beautiful.

Those are probably the coolest shells I've seen. Wow.
Avara actually also have a new prototype for their next new iem that sound amazing (i heard). But mostly their products are made for musician and engineer.

What I’d do is pull your earlobe down when inserting like a custom so it fits deeper. That way it wouldn’t gradually slip out.

Excellent! Yours was the last first impression I looked at before deciding to grab my own Ravens. Good to see you're still enjoying yours
That’s so awesome! Congrats. Yeah I still adore the Raven. Something about them touches my soul every time I listen to them.

It’s the Beat Audio Billow MKII 8w :)

Great synergy with Fei Wan IMO.

Cross-posting from the Elysian Pilgrim thread:

My initial reaction to Pilgrim was at CanJam NYC 24 where I got to demo a pre release version. When I heard the impossible news that Elysian was going to price this at $399, I thought, "there goes the ChiFi market" ...those moondrops and dunus were about to get pulverized by Elysian.

However, while awfully good, it still sounded a little bright and thin in the mids for me and my snobby tastes and criticisms. But by just a little, and honestly not enough to care if they were truly going to sell at $399, because something I also heard was a similarly engaging tuning as I heard on the Anni and Diva 23, but somehow with better bass. So at $399, I thought that was like the entry point to the Elysian tuning, a gateway Elysian!

As I waited for release, CanJam Singapore happened, and low-and-behold, another Pilgrim appeared at a rumored 2x price with similar internals but a different finish and tuning, and an EA cable. Rumor and talk around these threads, combined with news from Singapore, was that this was an Elysian/EA collaboration version, with some influence from EAs founder in the tuning. They were going to finish it in black, as opposed to the stainless steel look of Pilgrim, and give a minor retune to add bass, reduce brightness, and thicken mids while still sounding inherently like Pilgrim. This was going to be called the Pilgrim: Noir as everyone now knows.

At first I thought, "that's confusing", but I also thought those retuning tweaks might work for me even better than the OG did based on my initial impressions. And since this would still be an Elysian gateway drug under a kilobock, I was definitely in on the Noir the day I read about it.

Thanks to the awesome folks at EA and Hifigo, and the whole EA support staff, which has probably grown tired of me by now, I have been listening to Pigrim: Noir for several days now since receipt and burn in last week. I bought it that very day I read about it, blind with my own cash because I had a feeling that any improvement on the Pilgrim would be worth it, and a good EA cable with the package would be icing on the cake.

Tldr, I was (luckily) not wrong (this time!) as the rumored tuning changes and included EA cable were true, to a fault. The EA Eros 8w cable in its matte black finish matches perfectly with the Noir, not only aesthetically but sonically as well. This is a high grade cable, certainly no average stock cable. And the returning...wow, exactly what was rumored and reported from Singapore, thicker mids and especially deeper bass. What a package!

I have also recently received a tour unit of the OG Pilgrim from HiFiGo, and will begin listening to it to try and discern if these differences are really there or if I've got some good, old confirmation bias 😂

Very exciting times for the sub kilobuck category! Was everyone ready for Elysian to do this!? I was, so thanks Elysian, EA, and HiFiGo!

Fw+ 1zm2 bring joy of listening to me everyday.
Wow you are fine with the FW included cable? I think sound wise is allright but i cant stand how microphonic it is.

R8II, Fei Wan and a custom IEM I’ll be talking about in a day or two. Stay tuned.
How is FW with R8ii?? Recently i have the chance to try R8II i think it is more technical and more fun sounding, less warm, more technical than RS8.
