You’re totally right, and I should have mentioned it. (I’m so used to my LP6AE I honestly forgot)

The E7 does BT in, which means you can stream to the DAP from your phone, or laptop etc, and then use the DAP as normal. It actually works extremely well, in LDAC the SQ is fantastic. When I had the P6 Pro I would put in my IEMs, keep the DAP in my jacket pocket and control the music, and volume, from my phone. It made for some epic winter walks 🤟🏼

You can of course also use the E7 via USB in, which I do with my AE all the time via my Laptop. I will update my original post so as not to confuse everyone.

And the BT on the P6Ps as well the E7 work very well.

And of course, USB in works nicely too.

Pilgrim is just wow 🤩
I wasn't expecting anything special and I was really mesmerized!
I had a hard time removing them form y ears
Very nice tuning for my tastes, everything is well-balanced.
Pentaconn Ear connectors are really great, it's the first pair of IEM with such a connection that I try.
Size, weight and fit are great.
Doing some cable and tip rolling for now.

Should they be on my Try Or Die list, Vassili?

I assume you are using 2pin to P-ears adapters unless you re-terminated your PWA cable. How come you decided to get regular Pilgrim instead of Pilgrim Noir? Waiting to receive both for review, incoming soon, and it looks like the entire stock of regular Pilgrims was allocated to be sold by Hifigo only, while the Noir version will be sold by everybody else. I assume Noir will be available soon because I noticed Musicteck has it listed as sold out which usually means they don't have it in stock yet.

That is the $799 version versus the $399 version?

That picture has a regular $399 version. Noir ($799) is a collab with EA and will have an all-black shell with the gold Elysian Audio Labs logo on one shell and EA logo on the other.

Any sound difference?

Any sound difference?

should be the focus of my review once I get both in. But from CanJam SGP impressions, Noir is tuned differently, not just a difference in aesthetics.

According to the rep, the Pilgrim and Noir both use 1DD and 3 BA but the Pilgrim uses 2BA for highs and the Noir uses 2 for the mids. They said the Noir is warmer and has fuller mids compared to the Pilgrim. Of course the Noir comes with a better cable, hence the price increase.

Is there also a better EA cable included with Noir?

EDIT: answered at the moment I asked it...
