Enjoy them. I believe they were mine originally 😉 Still have a spot in my heart for the mentors.
Wow, if that's true, you tracked these down like an ex one can't forget! :D
Don't worry though, I'll treat her well

Naming only one, which piece of head-fi gear represents the very best value for money for you?

drftr
Lotoo Paw 6000. Amazing price for the sound it offers.
SQ below this feels like a compromise to me, and above this, a luxury.

Does anyone have any ideas for some nice accessories to showcase your IEMs, kinda like jewelry stand style? Thinking it would be a nice piece in any video reviews similar to a headphone stand. That Canpur stand above looks nice but I can't seem to easily find any like it, at least for a reasonable price. At this point, I'm considering the IKEA pegboards haha.

Good mornin' to all of y'all. Again, a very relaxing record. Beautiful sound. The first time I listened to this, I was chilling in a hot tub. I love to have memories like this tied to the music I listen to. What vivid memory do you connect with an album or a song you like?
Also I played (e-)drums on this track:
Also also here is another picture:

Just wanted to share a picture from my most recent review of the TRN Conch. As an ultra-budget set I'm sure the interest here is minimal at best but I thought the thread might enjoy a nice audiophile picture all the same 😄

Yes love this case too - even using it to transport gear around the house with me 😂
Haha, me too! Nothing gets left out the case now, and it's so convenient to have it with me so I don't have to go back and forth if I want to try something else.
Yes you get a selection of divider’s that you can configure to accommodate DAPs, IEMs etc.
Yes indeed. The 'secret' to this case that all others don't have is height. It's 10cm tall (still very compact), but this means you can stack DAPs sideways inside, and also have the height you need for IEMs in pouches with thick third-party cables.

See pics below:

1. Generous lid section. That's a CMA-18 Portable in the top left pouch, along with all my USB cables, adapters, some tips, and even a 'spare' IEM cable.

2. The fabric zippered divider protects the main section, keeps the items in both sections from bumping against each other, and serves as a 'tray' for gear while you're listening.

3. The main section can be divided in different ways. I have it configured for 3 full-size DAPs, 8 IEMs in pouches with cables attached, and two small gaps for silica bags to keep humidity out. The added height over most cases makes this possible. You can also buy spare dividers, along with medium dividers that let you split the bag vertically as opposed to how I have it configured.

🥰 Okay, I just have to ask (since you're able to cable roll with yours), would you say that I'm holding mine back with the stock cable? Would you advise that I pick up the RCX adapter?
This is the Watercooler, of course you're holding back! 😜😅

Seriously though, stock is fine, but there are better cables that can shape/scale this brilliant IEM. I currently have a ddHiFi Nyx Pro on mine, which gives it some extra body. Not too pricey either at $500, with swappable adapters and connectors at both ends.

Custom Fibae 7 Unlimited. Whilst not cheap, it just does so many things right and has been my constant companian since I got it over two years ago. I have a CP622B incoming and looking forward to hearing how that compares.

Simgot EA1000. Cheap (comparing to expensive) IEM with a bit special sauce, not just acceptable tuning.

Questyle CMA18

*if you're going to be using with IEM's you probably need to try it first*

Tried this today. A lot of background hiss with low - mid sensitive IEM's. Now seen this in a review also-

Better with overheads. I'm in Thailand and it's hot, so IEMs are very much the thing here.

The store had a sample unit & are only doing pre orders.
