In case anyone is looking for Black/Red Trailli. I'm doing a @jwilliamhurst (Second Odin, then second Bird and selling off both after getting them)

Had @harshkamboj not graced my ears with a trade for Fei Wan, Trailli might still be in the stable for me, I gave it a week but 1Z + Feiwan is just *chef's kiss* and when the only reason for keeping an iem is that it looks classy, it's gotta go.
+1 for this combo. Ive just figured out recently. My jaw dropped everytime the bass hit. They’re great synergy.

Although I purchased quite a lot of stuff over the past year, still quite hyped on a few things:

1) Elysian Dio - definitely a buy after a brief demo in Singapore, Summit-Fi technicalities for sure, with impressive / lush Mids/ Bass on top of the great anni treble.

2) The white silver flagship cable from a new comer in China, best pairing to my Fitear Creator after rolling quite a few other flagship cables. IMO definitely comparable to Saga, Orpheus and a bunch of other flagships.

3) MA Alter Ego - love it during my first demo in SG CJ, confirmed my buying interest during my 2nd demo earlier last week in China. Great soundstage, fun tuning with the excellent semi-open design and build quality.

4) Simphonio D-Max earbuds - Using the similar proprietary driver they applied on P0, and put it on earbuds, I like the resolution over the previous earbuds I have demoed..

5) Storm RE + SS8 - One of the best all rounders IMO. With the insane cable it just elevated the whole chain to next level.
What is this mysterious D-mX earbud from Simphonio?

Nice. Great vibe. Sounds insane on the Trifectas.
I'm sort of new to my Trifecta, but I have yet to find anything in my library that sounds better (to me) on anything other than Trifecta. I get that it's a specialist to many, but for me and my library, it's my #1 all-arounder.

Alright it's been a while since we've done any sort of survey. What are the top 3-5 things on your radar right now?

Hey Watercooler Friends :hugging:

I havent been following here for a bit but I was tagged and read through the latest posts and saw a new survey and I can't pass up a survey..hehe. I kept up with Can Jam NYC and Singapore thread posts.... so here are my Top 5 most interested products right now in no specific order.

1) Noble Onyx - Maybe a Noble iem I can love, we will see
2) MA Alter Ego - Someone said this reminded them of a Diva with DD, well if that is the case...sign me up.
3) EE Triton - An LX successor, YES please.
4) Elysian DIO - Lots of Hype, Hope to hear it, out of my budget.
5) 7th Acoustics Asteria - Heard many great things about the Supernova, so anxious to hear this one.

I have more than 5 items of interest but these are my top ATM. Runner ups are: Duality, Fir E10, Aür Aetha, Storm RE, Ruby, Novus, Romeo, LP E7, VE10, Fei Wan.

On another note, I have had some gear come into my possession since last I posted here, I will talk about a few of my favorites.

64Audio Volür is a great iem with thoroughly enjoyable bass. I just recently acquired this one yesterday so not much time with it. I found that it is very tip sensitive to control some of that upper treble zing, but I have settled on the Eartune fidelity u tips as they maximize the bass detail and minimize that zing, mids seem neutral with good weight and definition. I've really been enjoying it with Jazz. From all of my reading it seems this iem has a pretty divided opinion, which seems pretty consistent for 64A lately. I for one have alot of respect for what 64A has done for the hobby and I am happy to have a 64A monitor in my stable and the Volür is quickly becoming a favorite.

Sony WM1Z...I cannot imagine the statement this made when it was released as it is one of the best sounding pure music players I have ever laid ears on. No it does not stream, and yes it is a simple UI without android, but IDGAF! This gold machine simply blew me away the moment I pushed play. I bought this on a whim not really expecting it to be a part of my permanent collection but it is NEVER going anywhere. It is heavy but its small footprint and insanely long battery life make it an ideal portable companion. I do use the Walkman one Firmware but have only used it on direct sound. This is a musical player to my ear and pulls me into the enjoyment of listening, I get lost in the music and never analyze with this player and that is how I know it will stay in my collection and this metric is quickly becoming my one and only for what gear will remain. Bravo Sony!

Luxury & Precision P6pro Ti99 is honestly a dream come true as I never thought I would have the chance to own this player. Having owned the OG black P6P and loving it to death, like the Sony, small footprint, amazing battery life ( not as good as 1Z tho), and P6P weighs literally nothing to boot is a huge selling point for me. However this little machine packs a wallop and the ti99 version is most definitely a refined P6P, more power and tighter bass, better extended treble and vocal replay to die for. I also used to own a LP6 Ti199 which I ultimately sold for the N30LE, and while I liked that player, I always preferred the more liquid dynamic sound of the P6P series. I absolutely adore this player and it along with the WM1Z will remain in my permanent collection. Thanks to @PassionForMusic for selling this to me. :)

Venture Electronics Prime Gold aka Cartier Dap and Defiant Gold Amp..if one did not know and only saw the Defiant in Gold, you would immediately think its a Sony product as it has that same Gold color. Not much talk of these products in this thread as its mainly an Earbud brand but they have some quality top notch engineering with their Amps and Dacs IMO. The Defiant amp is crazy powerful but has a very musical but clean and hugely dynamic signature. It is made specifically for hard to drive earbuds and headphones but iems sound exceptional with it as well. It is very, very heavy as its solid copper and I do believe this helps imbue some of that analog flavor into the sound. It is by far the best little amp I have heard/used so far in my time in the hobby. I hope more people check out Venture Electronics, as they are a real Gem. The Shiny gold Prime Dac is also solid Copper and is very musical/analog in the vein of LP products. Not the most resolving or technical but highly enjoyable and smooth listening which seems to be my preference these days. I lean to the dark side haha.

Short impressions as I havent had this gear very long but wanted to share and say hello to everyone. Peace and Love my friends. Over and Out!

upcoming impressions...Simphonio P Zero and Symphonium Titan

Good impressions and awesome photos. Thank you.

It's also good to see Sony WM1Z getting some love even after all these years. Especially nice when it can be had for $1500 in the classifieds

100% agreed, though admittedly we are a rare breed.

Rn6 incoming! Finally pulled the trigger on it. So excited! Anyone know how the Mojo 2 is with it?
Welcome to the club! Did you go with the stock faceplates?
Oh No! 😬

I’ve officially become a Meme! 🤣😂😅
@warrenpchi I humbly submit my submission for a "jwilliamhurstJR" flair in addition to "resident treble fiend" and "y'all get any more of those upper mids"
+1 for this combo. Ive just figured out recently. My jaw dropped everytime the bass hit. They’re great synergy.
I had the Feiwan off the 1AM2 for about a week before I got the 1Z. And the 1AM2 is definitely close to the 1Z in terms of signature. 1Z was next level though
Good impressions and awesome photos. Thank you.

I have to thank @Czernobog for entertaining my second overture for his K Mod Ultimate 1Z (Backed out due to currency exchange and some misunderstanding about the currency of my offer).

I'm very particular about the condition of my DAPs and generally avoided second hand purchases.1Z is super hard to get without some wear.

Thanks! Yea, got open box on Bloom. What sources are you running on yours? Kinda hard to find many opinions online.
I haven't gotten to it with the 1Z on my rotation yet. But I've used it primarily with the 1AM2, For me at least, I don't want to pair it with something too warm since Rn6 leans towards warm from neutral.

Wowowowow…got some Khruangbin on the patio on the new Fiio and Monarchs…
Further cementing my opinion the Sp3000 is overpriced for no reason…

No apps
crap battery life
Lack of power…
Obscene weight
No hold button

Buyers remorse for the 3000 was immense

What is this mysterious D-mX earbud from Simphonio?
It’s actually not yet released, but Simphonio utilized their new ceramic diaphragm on these earbuds…. I have tried the demo and it sounded great.
