I had a brief demo of Trifecta a few moths ago, and here's a copy/paste of what I thought at the time:
" I’d been listening to Xe6 on my walk over to prepare my ears, but I was still pretty overwhelmed by all that bass. This is easily the highlight of Trifecta, just gobs of deep rich bass you can lose yourself in on tracks like Gorillaz “Tomorrow Comes Today”. Upper mids and treble however were very disappointing, especially for a 3k+ asking price, I felt some vocals and percussion details to be smeared over and wallowing behind that wall of bass. Stage was also kind of odd, on some tracks it was tall and wide enough, but lacking in depth and centre imaging. A very fun IEM to be sure, but CFA are asking quite a lot for a one-trick pony like this. "
So yeah, for some rap & hip-hop Trifecta would be awesome. Considering the breadth of what I listen to however, and that it can be had as a custom, Xe6 is a much better choice for me.
If you are thinking of spending the 3k+ for either of them, you really should try to audition them for yourself to see which works best for you.

This is solid advice. On the second day of owning the Trifecta I actually listed it for a brief moment… It took me a while to find the right source pairing (RS8 with a certain combination of settings) and even then it only works for a certain section of my library, mostly rock and cinematic stuff with “real instruments” and a slow to moderate pace. But for those genres, it is very impressive, with visceral and real sounding drums, amazing timbre around eg guitar plucks and a massive stage. For me it’s worth keeping for this reason, but it’s certainly not for everyone and everything. In my humble opinion, of course. Oh, and it looks amazing and fits like a glove.
Well that’s not a that low budget . In that price range I suggest you to try the Singularity which is really great and you also have the Alambic EarsMentawai if you want to try something different, it’s worth a try imho. I liked it pretty much when I tried them.
The Loki? I demoed both at CanJam. The Green variant is tuned for western audiences. I found that to be more fun sounding and engaging. The blueish red variant had a little bit more treble energy than I liked. It was audibly noticeable, but something I would need to spend more time with to confirm if it was fatiguing.
Both variants had great detail retrieval. I instantly preferred the green variant, and thought it was the most enticing IEM I listened to at CanJam SoCal 2023. I listened to both IEMs with an iFi xDSD Gryphon with xbass and xspace enabled, my iBasso DX300 with AMP11 Mk1 on Filter D5, and my RU6 set to NOS and High Gain.
If you can infer anything from the IEMs in my signature... The one IEM I would have bought at CanJam would have been the Loki (Green) to add to my collection. I recollect the Aroma Audio Fei Wan and Oriolus Monachaa having similar vibes. Last weekend was also my first time trying any IEM from Aroma, Oriolus, or Kinera Imperial.
@Sebastien Chiu should be able to provide more insightful commentary about the Kinera Imperial Loki variants.
