Any initial impressions xDI had it a month ago for a few weeks only, jut for review. Gag order was lifted 20min ago.
I wonder how big will the IEM be. Since this has all the drivers Legend Evo has, and with Estats on top. Legend Evo is already quite a large IEM.Odyssey configuration

How does it compare to the N8ii and the Sony ZM2? Does it have a tube mode like the SP2000T? I'm not a heavy DAP user, but I'm giving the SP3000 a good look. What about it?
Should have at least 200 hours on them. These have been burned in as they were owned by @tgx78, dunno how many hours he's had on them.
I will give them a fair amount of listening time as well, of course.
There are many differences as it seems. Looks like a good product so far, tbh.Astell&Kern / Empire Ears Odyssey

Haven't read through it. Looks to be Odin; not sure what the difference is.
All I can think of is that AK has imprinted on JH Frankenstein bolts design.I wonder how big will the IEM be. Since this has all the drivers Legend Evo has, and with Estats on top. Legend Evo is already quite a large IEM.
Speaking of gagging I'm expecting a similarly intense experience reading your SP3000 review. Fingers crossed the verdict won't be too hard to swallow.I had it a month ago for a few weeks only, jut for review. Gag order was lifted 20min ago.
Battery life seems to have gone up compared to the SP2K despite a newer AKM chip too.Man that SP3000 has me tempted. Looking forward to CanJam impressions to see how it compares to my beloved N8ii. The AK/EE collab looks great! Love the faceplate and the driver tech. Wish it wasn’t a collab, that A on the side is hideous also, no CIEM

Will see in 2023 how will the environment treat all these firms pumping these +$2K devices. It will catch up with them a d for sure will see a wave of consolidation in the marketInflation ballooned the asset class' disposable income leading to an environment where manufacturers can charge higher prices
