SR25MKii...though it technically wasn't on sale for BF. Tempted by the Zen Pro though I probably won't jump on it until Musicteck carries it.

Yeah something like that I would rather order from North America as it makes any warranty issues a lot easier to deal with.

I asked Musicteck and they won't be stocking it, don't know why. A shame as even here in Ireland, the delivery from Musicteck is incredibly quick - typically 3 working days.
It might take a while. I stalled my decision because I was seriously considering getting the UM Mest Indigo. Now, they are on slight back order. So, 7-14 days to manufacture and another 7-14 days to ship. I decided that the Monarch mkii probably is a better fit for my preferences given the early impressions of the Indigo.Awaiting your Monarch II review...

I own the Monarch OG and I loved it when it first came out. The sub bass focus is fantastic. So is the clarity with the intentional bass shelf to prevent bleeding into the mids. The problem is that the texture of the bass is rather lifeless and so I am hoping that the new and improved drivers improve its quality. And, the tuning looks more like the Clairvoyant which is arguably more balanced especially in the mid bass and treble. But, it's a bit rolled off in the sub bass. I am not sure if I will like losing the sub bass of the OG. But, I can't wait to hear it either.

Where did you find a Monarch Mk 2 in stock?
It's not in stock. It's pre-order on Linsoul site.Where did you find a Monarch Mk 2 in stock?
In my experience AK’s leather cases are $$$ but oh so nice.
As soon as the used HiFi dealer gets me cash for my speakers and amplifier I think I’ll buy the AK25MKII
I'm sure you'll love it...will sound divine with Andro 2020. It's so good with Reborn. I didn't order the case at first because I wasn't sure if I was going to keep the player but it's a keeper for sure. I love the AK house sound.
Have you guys tried any of the Oriolus DACs by any chance? More curious than a potential buyer here.I'm sure you'll love it...will sound divine with Andro 2020. It's so good with Reborn. LOL being antisocial at work. Sitting in my car during my lunch break and listening to music.
I read in the Multiverse thread that the Chord Mojo and the CFA Onyx play well together and I would have to agree.
The Mojo with the Andromeda2020 is complete crap however. They must have some sort of issues in terms of impedance or something.
The Chord Mojo really does bring the best (I have access to) out of the CFA Onyx and it is now that I am seeing the limitations of this IEM. Listening to Bill Callahan’s “Dream River.” I know this album upside down, inside out, back to front and even in dub (lol he did a DUB version of this album)(actually). The Onyx does a great job however I notice the limits of the soundstage realism, limits to the dynamics and treble extension. Still a super great IEM just about for any genre I’d say.
Listened last night to some classical music and obviously the Andromeda 2020 was the choice for that. The Onyx really can’t be that dynamic nor does it have the treble extension.

Okay. It isn’t fair to say that the Andromeda 2020 sounds bad with the Chord Mojo. I don’t like it though. They both kinda offer a similar sound signature and the play off each other. Too much V tuning. So the highs and lows are overblown and then the mids are pushed too far down is what I am hearing.

New Calibre album - well, collection of tracks from early 00's to 2020. Calibre for those of those of you who don't know him and appreciate D&B is a prolific producer from 'up the road' to me in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Everything I've heard from him is top notch - Second Sun should have more of legendary status than it has, up there with some of the best D&B albums ever made. Oh and he did also release a more downtempo album called 'Planet Hearth', quite a funky/jazzy uplifting album - more suited to hot summer days than the cold here in Dublin tonight.
Funny story actually, when the DUNU ZEN was first released, there was a lot of conversation happening in the thread as is the case with new shiny toys. I posted how a particular Calibre album sounded fantastic on the ZEN and another poster (who I was aware was a DJ) put up a picture of himself with Calibre - I asked had they DJ'd together, he replied and said "I discovered him" - on further digging, the poster turned out to be Fabio from Fabio & Grooverider fame... may not mean much to all here if not into that music, but he is an absolute legend and along with Grooverider, some of the DJ's at the forefront of the acid house scene in the late 80s/early 90s in the UK, moving on to becoming two of the most famous D&B producers, DJ's, record label owners in the scene - still going strong today by all accounts too. Anyway, it was amusing and slightly awkward!
Here I am, almost a year later, playing another Calibre album, now with the ZEN PRO...

Ooh! That’s a good story.
My claim to fame is I partied with Grimes (Claire) in Edmonton, Alberta before she was famous/Elon and DJing basements.

Hmm, I technically haven't bought anything for Black Friday. It's more like I buy a lot of/too much stuff and some of it happens to land during the Black Friday sales.Okay. What has everyone bought so far for Black Friday?
I bought
Monarch mkii IEM
Dunu Hulk Pro cable with lightning adapter
R3 Pro Sabre DAP to pair with my Chord Mojo in the Aliexpress case
I've got a JH Jolene sitting in my cart, but still waiting on an inquiry to JH about the 4.4mm cable.
Just received the 64 Audio Duo yesterday; did not expect a semi-open IEM to have this bass.

Very cool! She has a very unique style, a good while since I've listened actually.
Another other claim to fame stories?
I once got change from the till for cigs in a hotel I worked in when I was about 16 for The Edge from U2 - I didn't actually recognise him (never been a fan), it was only when he left that a colleague mentioned who he was. Bono lived very close to this particular hotel. Oh and Gwen Stefani stuck her middle finger up at me at a festival when both my wife (girlfriend at the time) and I innocently waved to say hello in her tour bus! One more I can think of right now... same festival (we had backstage passes due to some good fortune at the time) and got pictures taken with Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream while his roadies were rolling joints backstage.
