I like this word! I'm not sure it's traditionally used in the sense we're trying to here but there aren't many other alternatives.
Sounded like a good title for a B3 record,
and it is.
No idea if this is any good?

The organicity on that record is off the charts!
It was traditionally (and heavily) used by me in the past. :D But, I've since cut back on it after I got teased for it. It could definitely make some cameos in the future, though.
I think you were probably just ahead of the curve. A true pioneer!

Holography is another great word along these lines :). "The holography of the staging aids in the organicity of the signature as a whole."

+1 If there's a national treasure in the IEM scene, it'd be Deezel :)

Spent the afternoon yesterday listening to Mest 2, had not used it in a while. For me, it sounded the best of my collection. End game type sound. Used M8 as source listening on shuffle and every thing, all types from jazz to country sounded fabulous . All I could think is that Rock got a bad unit. I did break mine in for a week, 24/7. I am an old 73 year old male which could have had something to do with it.
I listened to Isa while driving for 3 hours on Friday, so I had some frame of reference.

I never said it was bad...and I think 7.9/10 is a very respectable score...but it just didn't resonate with me as well as some other IEMs. YMMV etc.

Have you tried either of the new Mason variants.
I think that you may like them, for acoustic Jazz, any acoustic string and wind instruments, the BC driver has a different impact than that of the MEST OG, (note I never tried V2). Also I do not listen to country at all, but other vocal heavy genres like Country still work well.

It is.

I use it all the time on hf.

My feeling is that they nerfed the bone conduction on the MKii MEST a wee bit to make way for the Fusang etc. I LOVED the OG MEST and bought the MKii on the strength of it...but it felt like some of the magic was gone, particularly with the staging. I know there are a few others who felt this way as well. YMMV etc.

Holy cow. I was going to post a joke about Organcity, but I googled it and it is a real website. OMG.

Possibly on purpose who knows. The new Masons are 12 BA+BC sets and that creates a very detailed result different than the sonic foundations outside the BC provided by the MEST OG driver design. What exactly the BC in the MEST OG or the Mason FS I have is contributing is very difficult to describe.

I do think the BC impact is there and adding value to the experience of listening to both sets.

I feel like I should reemphasize as a caveat to the ranking list & metric I posted that, thanks to the help of communities like this one, most of my experience has been with truly exceptional IEMs. When I make a list of my 10 favorites there will by necessity be one at number 1 and one at number 10. I've often stated when posting ranking lists etc. that more-often-than-not (IE, Traillii notwithstanding) when trying to rank IEMs at the calibre of those I've been fortunate to own and experience it comes down more to splitting hairs than noting all the vast objective differences between them-- I've often thought to myself that the scores were as tightly knit as those of an Olympic final. One of my goals in attaching numbers to my rankings, in addition to making my thought processes more transparent, is to illustrate how close in overall quality many of these great IEMs really are. The difference in score between my number 2 entry and my number 15 entry is on the order of about 1.5 points. Splitting hairs indeed.

It's definitely there. There was some definite magic to the staging of the OG MEST that I have not heard in any other IEM, save perhaps Traillii.

What jumped out at me with MEST OG and why I bought it was the energy level. Coming from U12T I was looking for more engagement, and when I did the demo of the MEST OG I found what I was craving.

"To every thing there is a season..."

One of the things I love about having a collection of IEMs is that there is one for any mood I can be in on a given day. I have days where everything sounds great, everything has days where it sounds the best and there are sometimes days when everything sounds like arse.
