EVE21 of course  Also Tansio Mirai Spark hidden gem. For players, Zenfone 8 lol

I forgot about the EVE21...that one I'm particularly interested in due to the rumored presence of a DD. Lately I have like zero interest in new multi BA setups...give me e-stats and or dynamics or it's a hard pass from me right now.

If you don't mind bullet-shaped IEMs, thr Carbo Mezzo I think would be a good option. It's kinda similar in its sound signature with Nio M15. DD bass, with sweet but not so sparkly vocals

Mine just shipped :D

I'm sorry to say this, to the guy who said it'd make Ely redundant, it won't. Trailli may be good for experiencing orchestra or tracks with lots of instruments, with its excellent layering and huge holographic stage. But for listening to simple classic guitar with vocals the Ely and Isa, with their more intimate presentation and woody natural notes would be more suitable in my opinion. Trailli is a good all-rounder, and excels at both technicalities and musicality don't get me wrong. It portrays vocals very well. But comparing its BA midrange to DD won't be fair IMHO. Each offers something unique, making them no superior to one another in an absolute sense

100%. There's a lot of pearl clutching that goes on in some quarters whenever this gets brought up. I know a number of people who have heard or who own both who admit that Ely still more than holds its own, even being superior according to some, against the Trailli when it comes to mid-range timbre.

Bullet shaped iems are almost usually by for the most comfortable for me, and wearing cable down is usually much preferred. But assuming I'm looking at the same iem as you guys, the cable looks like absolute garbage and my guess is it will be a microphonic nightmare.

Well, when you spend around 6k for an IEM you root for it to beat every single IEM in every category at any price point.
I haven't heard it , it might do it, but It's unlikely.

I would love to hear it...there's absolutely no way I'm ever spending that much on an IEM though...even Ely at $2.5K still troubles me and it's my favorite IEM.

The cable also doesn't detach. However given that this IEM costs less than some of my tips (cough cough Spiral Dots ++ cough cough) I'll give it a pass lol

In other news Eletech Prudence, Mezza, Spark and Isa are all on their way to me or soon will be...exciting times :D

Oh yeah, for the price it's not a huge deal. Just that at that price point what I look for is somewhat different than what I would look for at the higher end. And ergonomics/usability are potentially more important than just sound for me at that price point. Because I know the sound quality won't rival my higher end stuff, if it's not super easy to use and comfortable and free of things like microphonics, it likely won't get used much. Better to spend that money on a video game I'll never play! Hah.

I hear you...I've just pretty much exhausted what I'm interested in listening to at higher tiers and I'm admittedly quite curious to hear what a really good <$100 IEM sounds like.

While not quite less than $100, I would highly recommend the etymotic er2xr, assuming you are ok with the ridiculously deep insertion.

Been there done that & couldn't stand the ear rape. Nice bass but Ety's house sound isn't really my thing.

Haha fair enough! It definitely is a bit much. Also the cable does suck and the non standard mmcx is a pain.

Hmm. A really good cheap IEM? AirPods Pro? :p
Jokes aside. I’m tossing up Ely vs Isabellae. Might keep an eye out on clsssified.

I'm fully embedded in the Apple ecosystem so there may come a time...

I don't do any listening off my phone though which is the main reason I haven't taken the plunge yet.

My advice: Sell Andro then go all in on Ely & Isa. You and your SP2000CU will thank me later :)

I would think a pair of headphones + amp would do you better. Probably planars. Either from Audeze like LCD-2 or Hifiman Sundara. Decay and sustain is different from what we use to hear from iems.

Most of my listening is on the go otherwise I'd have gone for a desktop/full size long ago. Portability is a must for me.

I am waiting on EVERYTHING. Nothing is released/here yet. USA seems to be the very last country that gets things lately.
Mezzo is lost/late by USPS, tracking unknown. (nail biting)
I don't know if I'll survive this drama.
