Memento (2000) - One of my favorite Nolan films. If you haven't seen it, let's just say you might end up very confused while watching it. 😋

Requiem for a Dream (2000) - Depressing, trippy, and drug filled are the things that come to mind. The characters are quite destructive of themselves with their addiction. Pretty intense film.

Requiem sounds like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, less the trippy part and replace with total despair.

I love "Requiem for a Dream" it definitely opened my eyes.

Just received the Timeless (&Isabella) from Mr Rockwell himself (@Rockwell75) (Thank You).

Listening to one of my favorite albums "Awake" by Tycho.

These Timeless are instantly impressing me. Definitely have that planar transient and dynamic advantage.

Fingers crossed I find a set of tips at home to make the Isabella fit my ears.

I always said Requiem for a Dream should be shown to teenagers in school to scare the life out of them about addiction. It is a masterpiece of a film but it is a tough watch.

I'm starting understand why everyone was loosing their minds listening to the 7Hz Timeless.

These are so much fun. So quick, nimble, and deliver on dynamics. Would the British call this PRAT (Pace, Rhythm and Timing).

Great cohesion (single driver).

Enough extension.

Balanced but not boring. Musical.

I was 13 when I first watched it, gnarly at that time for me. The only other film that I found intense before this one was watching Schindler's List when I was 8.

Powerful filming making. It stays with you forever. Thankfully there are films that are equally as intense but in a happier fashion too.

Yeah, I was shocked too. I only added stuff that I haven't seen in this thread yet so my list is not huge since all of you have great recommendations already.

Glad to see Se7en mentioned as well by @Deezel177 some pages back, that one is great.

I always ask myself, if I were Lenny in Memento, what choice would I make?

Well at worst it works as well as playing music, so I am safe :)
But yeah burn in anyway is a hot subject
Thank you David for the Tara labs info. I downloaded it to my Mac Mini. Next I need a small capacity Micro SD card then I am in business. I will bet it works better than Tidal playlists. Will report back here.
