Water cooler I have a question. Has anyone tried any non-stock cable for the Anni 2023? If yes how did it go? Any cable recommendations?
I find the Anni performs well with a touch a gold in the mix. Effect audio Fusion 1 and Flash Audio Ultron have proved to be superb pairings in my humble opinion.

I tried with Liquid Links Conti the stock cable for Diva 2021 a while ago paired with Anni, it brought some added warmth and lessen the sharpness in the treble as well as made the mids more organic at the expense of reduced resolution. It's worth the admission for tilting it towards musical side away from studio reference

Some Maui photo highlights so far...

This coconut fell out of the tree and hit the ground with a thump just a few feet away from me.

Sony IER-Z1R

Finally, after years of contemplation and missed opportunities, I have finally acquired the Sony IER-Z1R. Typically when I see posts referencing the Z1R, it’s all about the bass. But wow, does this IEM have so much more to offer. While I whole heartedly agree that the bass quality, texture, impact, and quantity are teasing the line of absolute perfection, I can’t help but be captivated by the nuances of the Z1R’s stage presentation and detail retrieval. While vocals come off slightly recessed (my preference) and centered, I am bewitched by the wrapping effect of stage left and stage right guitars, complimented by glittering micro details at the Z1R’s width limits. To me, stage height can be described as average at best BUT its width and depth compete with the best in my collection. I’ve only had this set for a few days but man, I am truly impressed. The treble region is tastefully emphasized and its extension reaches for the moon. Only complaint thus far is fit.. Reminds me of the FatFreq GM. Damn the anatomy of these ears. I’ve spent hours tip rolling and have settled on the Azla Clear’s but am open to suggestions! Sony just continues to impress me….

Penon Liqueur Silicone tips...I have an orange M, and it works amazing...
The seal is perfect; you can push, pull, and move right, left, up, and down Z1R, and the sound stays the same.
Also, when you place Z1R, they stay and don't slip, for me, these are the best tips at the moment for any IEMs.

Cheers!

I really like Effect audio eros s1 Anniversary on Anni. Better soundstage and interesting mids.

Yeah, it's not Amsterdam, but it's Ljubljana and I love this place. These guys were absolutely marvelous too. Jazzy tunes done to perfection.

Oh, and then, casually, as one does, a dude brought his pet out for a walk through the city center.
