BTW here i found short impressions https://www.qucox.com/qdc-8-pro-review/

HiFi Mode: Very transparent and fast high-frequency. Slightly less low-frequency depth and a huge soundstage with precise imaging.

Live Mode: The high-frequency quantity will be reduced and will not be as exciting as HiFi Mode. The low-frequency will be significantly supplemented, especially the ultra-low-frequency. Live Mode is the mode I recommend most, and it’s also the mode I’m most satisfied with the sound.

Studio Mode: This is a mode similar to the monitoring style. Compared with the first two modes, the Studio Mode is more balanced overall. It has more low-frequency than HiFi Mode but less than Live Mode, and it has brighter high-frequency than Live Mode but less than HiFi Mode. But in terms of overall style, it will have fewer overtones and be faster, which is close to the hearing of traditional over-ear monitoring headphones. The purpose of this mode is to work.

Conclusion
For consumers, perhaps balance is a very good answer, but for enthusiasts who like to pursue the process, imperfection, personality and unique style are truly interesting products. What’s more, among the three modes of QDC 8 Pro, the Studio Mode can meet the user’s requirements for it to be neutral and balanced.

Hmm not really sure if thats how I’d describe Raven, do you own it? I’d say EVO is a spicy Odin haha… Raven is something different.
I listened to a friend's in Vegas over the New Years, I was between the two as it had just released (gold launch version) but went with the Evo 👀my audio memory could be off. I got super lucky and Musicteck hooked me UP! They had a sealed launch Evo on the shelf all these years later.

Mentor and Mest MK2 BCDs have night and day difference.
I’ve never heard such pinpoint imaging in dynamics like on MM.
Evo’s BCD is superior to MK2 imo but still far away from MM.
I'll keep an eye peeled for a used MM throughout 2024, not interested in the Red/Les Jardin/Nuit/Soleil on principle.

Nice @MusicTeck video to have an idea about different tuning

I’d like a lot to try Ame Gaia and Canpur CP622B

Dan here does a really good job with these videos/listening tests. He gives a good disclaimer at the beginning. If you just listen for frequency range differences then these videos are a fun quick hitter type of thing to show you what you might expect in COMPARING these IEM’s. Again, the disclaimers are important.

Remind me never to post in this thread because I don't know how to use multi quote and don't want to get called out by the Watercooler godfather 😅

I'm curious how it compares to the Sony DMP-Z1. 🤔

I think @metaljem77 owns both and I know @bigbeans has tried both and owns the DMP-Z1. AFAIK the DMP will be more musical and warmer whereas I hear the Mjolnir to be very neutral and going for hyper clarity/resolution type sound. I'd assume they're more complementary devices in tonality.
