This is a little less than 4ft x 8ft and holds just shy of 2,000. Jazz and classical is on a second shelf. I hurt my back making the shelf, luckily I had a couple guys help me to mount it.

And here I was thinking I was hot-crap with my ~100 count CD binder back in my high school days... Nice collections, fellas!

Yes long time ago, before I gave into streaming only 7 months ago, my process was just that.
All I can say is I wasted a lot of time not embracing streaming music sooner. My music discovery has ramped up major, now it is every day before it was once or twice a month.
Still the collector in me wants to keep buying CDs.
