thanks a lot for your advice. I will therefore also consider the YATONO ULTIMATE. ( 4w or 8w ?)Never heard the AP but I can report that Brise expertise is out of this world. Those are the first cables that truly made a huge difference to me. But as synergy with your iem is the key to everything, you should try to demo any cable you consider.

very nice!you folks like kaiseki cuisine, cant live on ear buds alone, lol. Private dining of course
I agree with those and I would add IER-Z1R.The Erlkonig , Traillii OG and the Noble Viking (full Damascus steel one) I would consider as classic because they are so well talked about and even after all these years people are buying them or clambering to get them or retain them in their collection. But there are many of them to name a few. These are a few I have in mind.

64 Audio u/a18t is definitely a hall of fame candidateNo, but over the years I've managed to get my hands on a good number of the IEMs in those lower price brackets that attract the most attention. I have never denied there are quality IEMs sub $1k, it's just that when it comes to my own personal enjoyment and satisfaction (which is the only thing that matters to me, really) I have found that $1k and above-- in particular $1k - $2k - is the sweet spot. If you go to r/headphones a lot of the discussion there is focused on sub $100 sets. On the discovery thread here on Head Fi a lot of the discussion is focused around sub $1k sets. In both of those communities people seem very satisfied with the products they come across (and often they express the attitude that people who spend higher sums on IEMs are deluded or nuts). This thread is advertised as a "come one come all" thread, and originally I intended it to dwell more on the mid-low high-fi bracket I tend to focus on however it has evolved to be primarily focused on higher cost sets-- if for no other reason than there really isn't anywhere else in the English speaking world. Therefore it is not surprising that most of the user base who flocks here has a preference for, and an idea that they will find greater satisfaction, in sets at the higher price tiers.
+1
That's a great definition of "classic" status. Based on our polls, I would nominate the following IEMs that have maintained popularit/relevance over a number of years:
Oriolus Traillii
Sony IER-Z1R
64 Audio u/a12t
64 Audio u/a18t
Empire Ears Legend X
Empire Ears Odin
Sennheiser ie900
Campfire Audio Andromeda
Campfire Audio Solaris
64 Audio Tia Fourte
64 Audio Tia Trio
Vision Ears Elysium
Vision Ears Elrkonig
Vision Ears VE8
Mid week dopamine boost. My DHC Chimera Mini arrived. This version had an adjusted memory wire in the earhooks.
Asked for a gold Y splitter clip to match XE6. This can be adjusted via a rubber band that locks in.
The weight is still the same but the ergo is better. The memory wire on the earhooks can wrap around my ears alleviating the pressure points.
Love how this sounds with XE6. Dynamic sounding and expansive. Connected to 475 Chimmy improves note separation even further. I like how the treble is extended while sounding refined.

In Seoul since yesterday and visited Scheherazade Audio shop. Temptation everywhere !!!!.
But again it's so difficult, wife will be upset again.
Picked up another set that I had not tried out and they did have a tuning that was fun to my ears and zero tip rolling as to achieve seal.
BTW super comfortable. Like the highs on this IEM , the bass is a BA but felt very good while A and B with some DD IEM's.

Ordered the FAudio for the $600 price. Will post up after receiving it.
On a side note to any Asian manufacturers looking for marketing type-editors we can work something out on discounts for my services. I use Shenzen manufacturing for some of my products so I can help. Hit me up .
I will be brief for the time being and will revisit after a good "break-in ", I am only 2 albums into these using my iPhone and M15 Dongle and I will say the cable is extraordinary.........
I was curious how these faired against the singularity and unless break-in opens them up then the double the price difference in these two matters. Will report back more later so don't take this as a direct hit as much as I need to do another fly by or two and see what is really going on here.
