I've never heard the Volt; only Penon product I've ever heard is the Penon BS1 Official earbuds that I've had for a month so.
One of my favorite IEM, and they build it custom on request... not sure ThieAudio does that...

Beautiful & safe travels!

In other news I received the Zen Pro:

C4AC4EF0-4654-46F3-BBD1-34B7384C6735.JPEG

Got the Zen Pro in and had a chance to get some quick impressions. In short-- they are excellent. Natural, bodied, balanced, impeccably technical & detailed, non-fatiguing, beautiful timbre-- they're probably just on the "technical over emotive" side of the spectrum but not enough for me to feel anything is lacking. Imaging is top tier...staging is not massive but everything is very well placed. Mids are even-keeled & clear, bass is excellent..all in all the balance across the spectrum is wonderful. Very satisfied with this purchase and very happy it comes with one of Dunu's modular cable so I could just throw a 4.4 connector on it. All cables should come like this. Will compare it to Isa, which I also received today, a bit later.

Congrats and very pleased you are enjoying! Still missing my tour unit and look forward to buying a set soon...

Tonight's choice on Dark Sky... I discovered Bark Psychosis a number of years ago when on a quest to seek out more albums like the final two gems from Talk Talk; 'Spirit of Eden' and 'Laughing Stock' - which along with 'Colour of Spring', are amongst my favourite albums of all time. Anyway, if you like those Talk Talk albums and don't know Bark Psychosis, well worth investigating.

Hope you're familiar with Mark Hollis' self titled album as well? If not, you're in for a treat!

Oh indeed I am! I love it. An artist I would love to have seen in concert. I remember reading though that the last two Talk Talk albums couldn't be performed live due to the complexity of the musical arrangements etc., something like that anyway!

Nice, didn't know about that one - great track selection. My wife, 13 year old son and 17 year old daughter love Colour of Spring - play it every summer, almost weekly - perfect album from start to finish. Obviously that bit more upbeat versus the following two but you could hear how their sound was already evolving.

Is anyone else having Tidal problems today? I can login with some devices, but not all. At first I was having problems with my mixes. Now, I can't login with my DX300 DAP.

I put my phone into offline mode so that I can listen to music with my S2.

Finally a suitable price for it. 😋

Just packed my EVO for shipping to new owner. And i honestly am starting to have a hint of regret. If only it had a touch different tuning... Its technical performance is summit fi. Insane imaging with extremely wide staging. Also i cant believe how comfy they are, despite that massive size.

I will be so looking forward to Odins and EVOs hybrid.

That will be something i will be willing to take a loan for...

Next up for sale is my Indigo lol.
