In terms of comfort how is it?
When I first opened the box I was happy to find it was lighter and more supple than I expected. It's a no compromise cable for sure, and while I was able to walk around with it, it's heavy and stiff. It drapes over your neck and you feel it. The ear hooks are moldable memory wire, you can bend them so the cable floats above your ears, which means it can be quite comfortable. But you'll always know it's there. It makes the Orpheus seem supple in comparison of that's even possible, but the sonics are worth it.

While I try to be patient letting the Brise burn in, I am really enjoying the Pico Origa, what a cool amp. Incredibly musical, bass is like standing in front of a Ampeg V100 tube head and 8x10 cab. Vast stage. Epic and tubey. :)

We experienced the same thing when our second son was born. So, my wife retired and we lived on just my income from that point on. So, it was much harder for me to quit my job and start my own business. I had a lot of sleepless nights wondering how I was going to pay all of the bills with none coming in to start. That's how I became such a night owl and how I live with normally 3 hours or less of sleep a day. Whenever I wake up, I just can't go back to sleep. So, I just wake up and start doing work or posting on headfi.
Good choice, any business, even small business once you past the survival stage, it will be way better than earning a salary (with the exception of C level executives for large companies).

Lord knows I don't sleep anymore. Up at 4 (or earlier) most days. It's a struggle with one child (not that I'd trade it for anything in the world). Massive props to all of you who handle two. I'm really looking forward to when she's old enough to share music/audio setups with me.

Super stoked for your Orpheus vs Yatano comparison because I also have Jewel CIEM and am in the market for a cable.. Resolution on Jewel is absurdly good.

Also does anyone know a good shielded USB cable? I need type C to micro B for my Hugo2.

Yesterday I receive Aür Neon Pro and I’m really like it, deserve more attention for sure.
I found a good match with Cema PS cable and N6ii Ti (T01), RU6.
It has an amazing bass, incredible for a full BA!

Here is what I really love about music. Patterns, harmonies and melodies are closely tied to memories, so you can hear something that reminds you of something else and it brings back all of those emotions.

One of my favorite artists is Maroon 5. I love their "Memories" song.

I absolutely love this song and I kept thinking it sounds like something else and indeed it does. It sounds like.

Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel. We all know this piece as we hear it at almost every wedding.

If you want to become a brilliant song writer, just lift some passages from classical music from the 1700s. Use the chord progression and modulations and just add your own take on the melody with a modern lyric and boom. Instant musical genius.

Today is Aroma day!
Jam, Neo AIR dac and Sparkle cable came.
I had a short Jam session and is growing a lot, doesn’t sound as a DD+2BA, it’s incredible what Aroma done with this iem.
I plan to listen Neo soon before to cook it.
Air dac is pocketable, light and provide enough power for both IEMs 😊, I appreciate LDAC connection.

Good news is there are still some good old IEMs that are not outclassed by the new toys, such as Z1R.

Yeah, I agree. I ended up buying a Z1R for a third time recently and it arrived earlier this week. It’s for sure in my top 10 still. Such a beast with the types of music that I listen to a lot.

I'm not certain I'd go that far. I don't necessarily feel  that strongly on it.

This bit, though, definitely. The thing is, I can't necessarily ding IEM manufacturers. Everything is more expensive. Toys have practically doubled in terms of price. Action figures that would have been $15 a few years ago are now $24.99 regularly. I'm paying more for vegetables than for meat at the supermarket which is insane to me. I get it: these are luxury goods and they're precision engineered. Stuff's expensive, yo. I imagine most of the audio companies have a harder time than, say, toy companies when you factor in just how much (read: all) of the manufacturing is hand-done. I'm not saying "this is ridiculous/greedy and a ripoff". What I'm saying is, as inflation and soaring costs continue exponentially on most things from essentials to luxuries, I'm forced, as a father on a fixed income (with fun medical things thrown in to boot) to be that much more selective.
It’s not just supply costs, is it, though?
It’s also demand - as long as people are willing to pay those prices, manufacturers will continue to offer IEMs at those prices.
We’ve had this discussion before and we’ll have it again.

All the best with your health.

It's been on my must try list for a while. I own a walkman. I sort of feel like I should own a set.

Impressions please Kiats sensei  I've been waiting for impressions on these myself, keen to hear it at SG Canjam!

P.S. We hope we'll see you at Canjam SG
Too kind! Hope to see you in CanJam SG as well. I will post below my initial impressions (posted on the SoftEars thread as well) from a couple of hours of listening last night. I caution that it is still opening up as it burns in

I will reference the OG Turii for one purpose only: I still remember when I first heard as part of the demo units of SoftEars that Jaben Singapore and Wilson had kindly sent across. SoftEars has a great range of IEMs but it was the Turii that took my breath away. I have a soft spot for single DD IEMs. I thought it was so well tuned, albeit on a warmer side of neutral because of its bass.

With around 3 hours now under its belt, I honestly think that SoftEars knocked this one out of the park! And it is a custom as well. No need to worry about ear tip rolling. And no finicky seal.

I love the timbre of the mids of the Tremolo. I listen to a lot of female vocals and acoustic music. In that sense, it is fantastic for my preferred genres. I am also surprised by the soundstage and separation: with the right tracks and recordings, I am very impressed. While it is very musical, I would say that it is perhaps on the slightly warmer side of neutral. But, it has also surprised with the deep impact of bass when the recording calls for it.

It is very early days yet. But I cannot say that I detect any sort of harshness in the trebles. I think there is sufficient treble extension to please most of us. :)

Whilst it will definitely still evolve and open up, I do enjoy the combination of musicality and great separation.

When Wilson from Jaben Singapore told me about the Tremolo, I did not hesitate to order one. If there is one thing that I have learned from past experience is that SoftEars have a gift in tuning single DD IEMs. The Tremolo does not disappoint. :)
