Ok, M9 is really bringing this up several notches vs P6K... I guess the driver configuration benefits from the extra horsepower.

I'm officially saying, I effing love these.

Sounds like an iem that needs some power to shine!

How are you finding timbre on these?

Now that you mention it, I've had to raise the volume quite a bit in comparison to my Duos. I also have a P6K and my standard low gain volume setting for my other IEMs is in the 40s, whereas the Szalayi demands mid 50s.

The P6K is usually awesome but I do find my L&P W2-131 being a better pairing with the Szalayi.

The specs don't reflect how hungry it is :p

I think the bass might be too much for my tastes but I'm looking on with great interest to see how Oriolus implement planar tech. Having had my first taste of planar mids with the Dioko, I can't wait to see where this goes.

Me too. Glad I ordered today. Too unique not to have one.

Wondering how it works as a compliment to Traillii, finding XE6 a great complimentary set. Interested in hearing comparisons. XE6 and Szalayi are very far apart in price, perhaps the Szalayi would take down the energy a little, and still dig deep. Besides the lows the ethereal highs I like in the sets I listen with.
W signature for me, except at night when I want Mids first and lows and highs subdued, Isabellae does that.

Could be Oriolus has made a trifecta, no other brand needed. Got your three. Morning Szalayi, afternoon Traillii, evening Isabellae, that would be how it could be for me.

Congrats! I am curious to know what the differences are compared to the Traillii.

I'm not finding an issue at all now with clarity - it may have been, in fact was most likely the large tips which were stuffed in my ears! And indeed allowing for the shift in SQ from what I was listening to before, the A4000.

I'm listening now again on M9 and I must say, I'm loving Szalayi - it ticks all the boxes for me. The balance of a smooth, lush signature with an abundance of detail and deep sub is perfect for my listening preferences.
Great! That sounds much, much better :metal:

I’d keep Thunder and F7U but if I don’t sell other stuff I can’t buy Jewel and sadly I’d sacrifice my lovely last iem (custom art fibae 7 ultimate).
