Probably the same noises I made seeing the Odin go up 🤣

The Kaiser (Not Encore) is literally Noble's one hit wonder in terms of actually music reproduction gear. And since jewellery is what makes them money, there really isn't any reason for them to make anything exceptional.

OG Khan is hands down the worse purchase I made in this hobby and 200% those M2 faceplates were the reason I bought them.

The only thing exceptional about Noble is their price tag.
I concur. I don't like the Khan & Sultan at all. With the Kublai Khan, I think they have improved. However, I don't feel the need to own it.

Looks like we got it locked in! X and Annihilator inbound to Rock 😎
But how about the rest of us in audio wasteland Canada? 🙄

There better be some form of improvement for that price tag. But I don't think it will ever catch up to the price that Noble sets.

Guys, we're slowing down. Only two new pages overnight? I haven't even finished my coffee and I'm done reading. Pick up the pace please. 🤭
Only so many times folks can talk about how many First Times they have 😉

All quiet on the Sony front?

Speaking of Sony, just got this in. First impression is that N3 sounds quite bassy.. especially since I’ve been listening to earbuds exclusively last few weeks. Bass depth is pretty good and hits very hard but it seems to bleed a little into the lower midrange. The rest of the midrange is smooth, full-bodied, and neither forward nor recessed. There is no better word to describe the midrange of the N3 than ‘lush’. Those who value clarity above all will want to stick to all BA or planar based in-ears but for a noticeably thicker note and more ‘musical’ sound, the N3s are hard to beat. The treble seems very natural - soft but very well-defined and induces zero listening fatigues.

Maybe we could supplement @Rockwell75 's TOTL IEM survey and make a Watercooler recommended list of budget IEMs? Even the high flyers on this thread must have some beaters?

Now budget is a relative term, I know. It broke my heart reading about a Head-Fier who had to save for several months to buy a $ 80 Moondrop offering. Puts things in perspective.

I was one of the positive reviews. I was on the Ambient Acoustics European tour and go to listen to the MADD10, MADD16 and the MADD24. I wasn’t that enamoured with the 10 or 16, but I thought the 24 was superb. I liked it so much I was close to buying one.
Considering you've Trailli and Phonix, can you tell us more about MAD family?
Did you compare them with your TOTL?

Last couple days with the VE tour kit. Holding my thoughts until the video review.

This was valuable as it gave me more perspective. Went back to the XE6 for a bit today. Seriously considering getting this in custom. LOVE the type of replay I am getting on this for energetic genres. There is magic in the vented open design.

Yes it's easy to forget what a privileged position we are in but there is certainly appetite for discussions on more affordable gear.

BQEYZ relatively speaking, is a fantastic value IEM at $200 - my choice for out walking the last couple of days, coupled with the NW-WM1A. It is honestly raising a lot of questions for me, and has the potential to shift on some others on classifieds that are currently being used as more portable solutions.
