My wish list

USB OTG. Don't care if it's a dap or transport as long as the digital out is bit perfect. So what if it's dual purpose.

Android I haven't heard an iOS or android app better than USB audio player pro.

Decent ui that can sort quickly and can use meta tags

Wifi that can attach to NAS over DLNA.

Dual card slots

What would be cool would be an Ethernet port for wireline DLNA.

i just wondering, would you please add play/pause hardware button ?
 
this feature really helpfull, when someone, or somebody call u, or needs talk to you, you can just simply press that button without having looking at the screen every time or rushing unplug your iem/headphone.

Not really given the price, small storage capabilities (in comparison to the T3), and only USB digital out. Sort of a fail for a transport, strictly speaking as a transport.

T3 would slaughter it as a transport.

The AK70?

Only optical output.
Won't charge and play at the same time.
Only a single micro SD slot so storage still limited to that of a Clip+.
Very expensive.

No, the AK70 is not a decent transport at all. It's barely a decent DAP. It doesn't raise the game from anything else we have had over the last 5 or 6 years.

The T3 must be different.

It must have very large storage.
It must have asynchronous USB output.
It must be able to charge while playing (for home use).
It must have twin full size SD slots.
It must do gapless playback without issues.
It must be affordable (I'm thinking X3, not X7 here).
It would be nice to finally see browse by 'Album Artist' on a DAP/portable transport.

Come on FiiO. Change the game. We're sick of rehashed 2010 technology. It's 2016 already.
