One last listen before its back to reality tomorrow. Got the AC going. I was swapping in and out a few different input tubes earlier today, thought these Tung-Sol 5687WA would sound great with some heavy distorted guitar, and they aren't disappointing at all. Listening to some Tool. The AC with this amp and some well produced metal is just what the doctor ordered, extremely tactile and deep guttural bass, I dig it.

Just jumping in to say, I just checked the classifieds and the available options in the full sized amp section are incredible right now. I have never seen an Eddie Current, Donald North and Glenn OTL listed at the same time, as well as a V281 and several other heavy hitters. :astonished:

For those ZMF owners looking for an amp, I would definitely take a look at the classifieds asap.

I can't stop looking (and salivating :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:) at that amp!

I love the color scheme and look! I sure would love to hear an amp like that someday. . .

I have too many amps as it is and I keep thinking "it's rare, just buy it, sort it out later". So hard to resist! If I hadn't impulse purchased a ZMF November special I'd have purchased by now.

It will likely be at CanJam Chicago next year, but probably won't make it to others, I know Zach is apprehensive to ship amps I've made him after an Airmid disappeared for 6 weeks in shipment.

Unfortunately, I don’t see Chicago on the CanJam 2024 list currently.

T’was my favorite show.. but not enough demand I guess.
