But does it really?

If you go to http://www.2l.no/hires/ (Lindberg Lyd AS, Oslo, Norway,) you will find a great resource to test just how file compatible any DAP is.

Why don't you try these and let us know your results. And don't ignore the DSD256 files. The Britten: Frank Bridge Variations performed by Trondheimsolistene is particularly lovely.

@PJABBER one more thing... Even if all those formats are supported, none of them mention DSD playback... This means DSD is getting converted to PCM before playback, meaning the DSD playback isn't really native, right? Once again, I'm merely speculating and don't know this for a fact...

It has been a while since I used this version but I think the 1.04Beta firmware had that capability. It is not the prettiest version and you lose other functionality but it might work for you.

It has been a while since I used this version but I think the 1.04Beta firmware had that capability. It is not the prettiest version and you lose other functionality but it might work for you.

Long press to fast forward/reverse, short press to skip to next song, maybe?

All DAPs have idiosyncrasies that you can either live with or just buy another one that has a different "feature!"

Can anybody share Amazon order number for T6 purchase? Another option for those who bought the player at Amazon to send them this message and post their answer here.

"I bought Benjie T6 player and updated the player's firmware with Agptek firmware.
The latest AGPtek Version 1.2 does not allow to change tracks with the screen off.

Hi Alex,
Well your first problem is that you told them you bought a Benjie, and not an AGPtek I'm sure that's why they're asking for an order number.

I would think it's reasonable for them to say "Well...if you need support for a Banjie, you need to ask Benjie and not us". My understanding is that Benjie is the original manufacturer of the hardware, and AGPtek resell that hardware with their own firmware.

Also, I assumed that when the screen goes off the device goes into a "lock mode" by design so that you don't press buttons by mistake. Other DAPs have an explicit "lock" function.

To get the device to respond again, just press the power button.

So I would think you are not describing a bug, but a feature
