TTVJ.com has 'em, I believe....welcome to head-fi!
Yep, I got mine from HeadRoom. Same great customer service as always and also to show my thanks for the listening room as well as, uh... "entertainment" provided by Tyll at CanJam.
I'm gonna say what has to be said folks.....If you're listening to anything but the hd800...your playing around. When you get serious, you'll be getting the hd800.
I don't own any Sennheiser stock...but these hd800 will be legendary, in time.
Ok, this might sound like a stupid question but Ive never really looked into cans before. I just found this thread and didn't feel like looking through it all. With "open" headphones, does that mean everyone around you can hear what you're listening to? If so, then isn't that really annoying? If I was looking for headphones to use while commuting on the train, these would not the the right choice correct? I was also looking at the Denon D7000's, those are "closed" apparently and nobody can hear what Im listening to.

(flamesuit on)
Yes, open means those around you can hear what you're listening to as well. No, you wouldn't want to use open headphones while on a train, and you certainly wouldn't want to use the HD800 for commuting given their size and especially their cost.

Thanks for the quick response. These are absolutely gorgeous though.
