If you’re able to, could you provide a comparison between the Serial and Isabellae? I’ve been curious about that one for some time.
I'm probably going to be getting the Serial in a bit, this comparison will be high on my list for sure as well.

Although I'm not an experienced reviewer as is KutuzovGambit, I will do my best to chime in on the comparison with the Isabellae once I receive the Serial. Like Mr. Gambit I am in love with Isabellae! I've also ordered the Totem adapter so I'll try to do a dual A/B comparison with/out the Totem as well.

Goodness, the Serials can handle all the power you want to throw at them

Imo Isabellae sounded like a $150 V-shaped IEM with some "premium" brand pricing applied. Very FiiO-esque sound, think FD3/FD5. Keep in mind that it was manufactured by the folks who want to charge people $6k for an IEM. Very airy (thin) upper mids/lower treble, with mid treble sibilance. Was good for a select few genres, mainly acoustic. Fatiguing to listen to for long periods for me. Only point I'd give it over the Serials was the mid-bass quantity/texture, but that's personal preference.

Serials had better timbre, more natural male/female vocals and midrange. Much less lower treble although that's also a preference thing. I thought the Serial sub-bass was higher quality as well. Better overall resolution. Lower treble dip made Serials easy to listen to for longer periods.

I was using the Silver Dragon cable for iems for a while w the Serial and just switched back to Hans Sound Nyx. Stage depth came back and overall just a more nuanced performance w greater micro detailing listening to Beethoven. Also started using the Final E tips with good effect and better comfort.

I'm also waiting @Penon 's reply.
I bet @equalspeace classical ensemble would love the Vortex and vice versa. It's a 1 x dd after all...

I’ll be interested in how its tuning varies from the Fan… I might hold off completing an order until I hear more about these!

The Single DD that penon was preparing! I haven't bought other single DD that have tempted me, waiting for this one. Will it be the May release?

The Fan is an excellent 1DD. It's the only v shape I know (for its price range) with very good Mids! It needs a powerful player / amp though...

I know. In my case, I joined Penon Tuning relatively recently with the Serials, which I love, and that's why I later got the Volts and several of their cables. My budget is limited, and reading here that they were preparing this one, I preferred to wait for the new release, which I imagine will not disappoint.

Hey there, thanks for sharing about the Nyx. I have been extremely interested in that cable, and how would you compare it to the stock cable?
