I mainly listen to vocal centric tracks on various genres like acoustic, jazz, ballad, hip-hop, trip-hop, pop, and r&b. At times, I listen to a lot of different metal genres too but I try to use IEMs with more treble energy, though some recordings are okay with Orb as well.

I tend to listen to those sort of genres too except i do have some trance, really been into london grammar lately but not sure if i have metal (don't know what def leopard falls under). Thanks for sharing that, helps a bit to understand what could work

So the new Volt will have the very capable dynamic driver that was used on the Orbs. Which I am actually happy about. Love that driver. So at least for the bass aspect you can guess how the bass will be. 2 Sonion BAs for mids. Better imaging, and 4 Sonion EST for treble. Dang!

Does someone else see flowers in that cable? When graphic representation gets too far... hopefully the cable will sound as good as it looks. Good to see Penon widening their game. As a webshop, they deliver. I don’t know their own products, but I wish them best of luck. Long lasting customer here.

Penon have allot of experience. In this market there is brands who know what they doing and some brands who haven’t got a clue but wing it. Penon are one of the brands who know what they doing. I see them becoming a real contender.
