Van anyone recommend DAP that will go well with Penon Volt?

Bought it from Classifieds and still waiting for delivery, but figured out that maybe I can snatch something cheaper on 11.11

I have dragonfly red, astell&Kern ak70 MK1 (only single ended, since balanced 2.5mm is broken) and fiio btr5.

Was thinking about shanling M3X...

The Volts are medium efficient. Thus the M3X is sufficient, more than enough to drive the Volts.
I'm using my M0 with the Volt, sometimes when out and about...

I like the Hiby RS6 pro, it seemed to help with the treble being a little sharp for my ears. Though I don't see too many people on here sharing my views on the treble. I think I must be treble sensitive. But don't get me wrong the Volt is a really good iem for sure.

I really hope Penon goes head to head with the UM 3DT - both in terms of sound and price. Love Penon’s house sound and love the 3DT (except its awful cable but I trust Penon would never go there anyway) so I’m relishing the prospect of competition.

If the Serial is basically a 3DT with Volt tuning it could easily be my favorite IEM of all time.
