The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?

I'm burning these in as I type. Does anyone know how they fare against the Creative Aurvana Live!? Their sounds have been described as being fairly similar, and now that the CAL! is back in stock on amazon, I'm pretty curious.

Well I have the CALs. The cals are a good solid pair of cans and are more portable than most headphones but if you like bass like most of us here on this thread the bass on the cals are not as good as the HTF600s..Cals are technically more straight cans but I like the sounds from my HTF600 more. Better bass more engaging sound imo.

Unfortunately it is a IEM and not a headphone but a doozy. It will be an interesting read.  Lets just say it is a significant find and a earphone that already exist but with a new name and looks.

Merry Christmas everyone.
After near 50 hours burn in with both htf600s and monoprice, well I must say HTF600s is more impressive now. But there is one thing I dont like in htf600s is treble, it's too harsh. I dont know it will change if I burn in it more.

Harsh treble in HTF600? lol I would like you to test a "treble" neutral or even emphasized highs headphone and I think you would quickly start noticing HTF600 sounds damn smooth.

Lol. Try them out. Everyone has different taste but for the price they are a blast to listen to music with..They let you enjoy your music. They aren't analytical or audiophile proper but wait till you hear your bassy tunes on them. Then you ask yourself if it was worth your money. Give them a good burn and enjoy.

The HTF600 may not be the most resolving or accurate headphone on the market by a long shot, but it's only $35-40. As someone else said in here earlier, that's like buying from the dollar menu by Head-Fi standards, and I don't think it makes music utterly unlistenable by any means.

(Now if we're talking something that really will make music unlistenable, try buying some dirt cheap earbuds. Dreadful audio quality AND comfort to match. Ugh. Note that when I say "earbuds", I don't mean IEMs like that Monoprice find...)
