While I enjoy pretty much everything by Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, I think Vol 1 (2010) is still their second best album. It's been remastered and officially released by Rise Above last week, highly recommended!

Okay, I'll ask...

What do you think is their best album?

I love the band, but I always feel a little dirty after I listen to them, lol.

Blood Lust of course!

I've been enjoying the fifth album by Swedish band Märvel, who have always been dependable for hard rock like new and improved 70s KISS, but these are some of their best tunes (ex: "Smile Mr. Steen"). "Child" is one of the best Thin Lizzy tributes I've heard lately.

I initially thought this Swedish band had a guy with high range, but it's a woman, the bad ass Sofie-Lee Johansson. Lyrical themes: "Freedom, supernatural vengeance." \../

Wow, Sam Dunn read my comment on "Lock Horns" today. I argued for Orange Goblin "Big Black" as essential stoner. Now if I can only figure out how to fit that on my resume... :)

I got that Orange Goblin box set a few years back, love it. I saw them in the 90s with maybe Nebula, who also are having their stuff reissue.

Doom Charts just snaked me promo code for this band. Proto-metal Pentagram/Sab worship, and it's scratching ALL my itches right now.

As a mainly classic, black and death metal fan. What would be a good set of songs I could listen to on tidal to unwind?

If I had to pick one song, just one, that represents what "Stoner" rock is all about, this is probably it. Unida had WAY to short of a life, due to legal complications between Rick Rubin and Sony, I believe.

Anyway, for some of you this may be one of those "greatest song you never heard" moments. For the rest, it should bring a smile and a faint pang of what could (should) have been...
